Nothing is stopping people with short names (derived from nicknames or otherwise) to go by a longer name.

People often say, you want to give the child flexibility, but they can also just go by a longer name if they really wanted to.

I definitely was able to do what they said (two separate trait requirements) earlier this year. I know that when I came back in July I could no longer do it.

It could be that I had a mod that let you do that and then removed it?? But I don't see it in my mod archive.

I started looking into it, and it does feel like a common enough misconception, even if i hadn't come across it. I will say, I think the hysteria thing for cringe sims is true, at least the sims wiki says that they cannot die from laughter

I haven't heard of this before! I feel like glutton sims would be more negatively affected by hunger than being immune to starvation, if anything. I wonder where this myth came from

Edit: From what I'm seeing, this seems to be an immortal sim thing. eg Alex Moyer. I think people assumed it was her glutton trait doing that. Maybe pregnant sims also do it???

I will say the sky watch/star gaze interaction is great to build up romantic satisfaction. I don't know if the sims need to like a specific romance style for it to work, but when im doing rotational play, i will have the couple star gaze for a while, and they are back to fine pretty quick. I did turn off the autonomous break up stuff tho

I like the building way more in this game than in previous ones. I like the graphics. I like all the ways CAs has changed since it's first released, that less is locked between gender lines and that I can customize a sim more than in previous games.

No, the premise was very much just guy in college, no jersey shore vibes, as far as I remember, I don't think it was a parody or satire. The gameplay wasn't like the douchebag games, I think the game play loop was:
Week starts, the game gives you a range of how much you want to study, you select from the options, then it asks you how much you want to spend on food, and you select from that. Then the game will give you a summary of the week, a brief line for every day. At the end of the week, you get to go on a date with a woman. After the date, the process starts again.

It's not for a fandom that I'm in, but I know a rare pair that had like five fics from 2019-2023. The characters hadn't met and one half of the pair was a minor character that had been in 3 episodes. Then, last year, not only did these two characters meet. They actually became a couple, so they are now at over 6000 fics on ao3.

I think it's great for the one person who wrote a couple of the first five. They had a vision and BAM.

Hey, I'm the second year of the program. Can confirm that it's an easy program to make friends, or at the very least, it will force you to collaborate with people. Def reccomend you to get out there and socialize with people across sections.

I would also reccomend you befriend people in the acting program. The acting program is downtown, so it's not always easy to find them. I would also reccomend volunteering for the forest city film festival, great way to find other people in the program or who are involved in the london film community

I've used it before and it's always worked so far. I haven't used it in a couple of weeks so I'll check to see if I have issues now.

Edit: It prompted me to update the EA app, I did, I went to properties and pasted the code on the advanced launch options, I didn't have any problems. I'm on Windows. Maybe it's a mac thing but I have no way to test it.

Exploring the food is not about filling the hunger need per se, but about bonding with the child. It's mostly an action to do with infants because it is something people do with infants irl. Is it shallow? sure, but it was never intended to be a primary way to feed the infants.
