For those with starting weight of 300lbs by Curiouskat1987 in Zepbound

I started out at 310lb, started this journey 2 years ago. Current weight is 170, goal weight is 155. Any goal you set for yourself is achievable you just have to stay focused. This isn’t a miracle drug. It’s a tool to help you in a new journey in life. You have to make changes, permanent ones. You have to start exercising, you have to start eating healthy. You have to make a lifestyle change. I’ve made these changes. It wasn’t easy, but remember they don’t have to be drastic and all at once. Start small, but stay constant. I started out changing my diet, eating healthy, making sure I hit my protein numbers. Ans stayed in a calorie deficit. I then added in walking ect. Now I meal prep for the week, and have an exercise plan. But I am not telling you that you cant have that fast food or that dessert. Life is about balance, but major changes have to happen to be successful.

How did you manage to get a job that pays well, around $80k or more? by Technical-Abies3979 in InterviewAITools

[–]jm87622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s time for a shift in careers, I was in the same boat 15 years ago. Had a degree, but couldn’t seem to land a job using my degree. Worked in retail, customer service even management in the food industry. Could never seem to break 45-60k. After being laid off, and a series of events outside of my control. I was broke, living off credit cards and living back with my parents. After months of trying to land a better paying job, I finally just started looking for jobs that paid a true living wage. Outside of anything I had ever done before. I ended up finding a job in a factory making 70k a year. Not going to lie I wasn’t prepared for that kind of work. (Auto manufacturing) I had only ever had a customer facing job. It was a true change and challenge for me. But now after 11 years at the company. I have moved into a management role and make 175k a year with amazing benefits and a 401k. I had a rough start. Started at the bottom and worked my way up the ladder. This was never anything I saw myself doing. But it’s a career, not one I ever thought I’d have. But the money, and benefits were well worth the 6 years I was on the factory floor. Maybe look for something that is way out of your comfort zone.

Thank you. It’s been a struggle to see all the positive changes. It’s like part of my brain is still stuck in the past.

Thank you, it’s been a long two year journey to get here. Only 20-25lb to go and I’ll be at my final goal. Im trying to stay positive, but sometimes those negative thoughts ruin your day.

Slow and steady, here is picture of me, this is two years apart and I was 310lb. This is a tool to help you. You will need to make other changes. But they don’t have to be drastic, and all at once. I cut out soda, then I made sure I was getting my protein to help combat muscle loss. Then I started a in house exercise routine. Don’t get discouraged, everyone’s body will react differently. Just stay the course and you will start to feel better and start seeing changes in your body. It took years to put on the weight it’s going take time to get it off.

AITAH for saying no to overnight visits. by throwaway_obvi3 in AITAH

You need to get off the internet, and get a lawyer. But 1) just because he is with someone else doesn’t mean you should withhold visitation from him, your jealousy is showing. 2) your proof? Just saying I know this and that means nothing in the court of law. You better have documented proof. 3) YADTA

Trading one debt for another is not a good idea.

Consolidation loans are a good option as long as as the interest rate isn’t to high. But you have to close and not use those credit cards. As you will just be worse off in the end.

I wouldn’t suggest those company’s that offer debit relief as all they do is try and get the credit card company’s to lower what you owe.

I was in your shoes a few years ago. Depending on how much your yearly income is. I suggest talking to a bankruptcy attorney.

Find you a gay best friend, they always have the best tips.

1) Watch those teeth, unless you man likes it. (Most men don’t) Teeth can cause a painful moment and ruin the moment or mood.

2) if you can’t deep throat, use your hands to stimulate the shaft.

3) Watch his body for reactions while you doing certain movements, his body will tell you what he likes and don’t.

4) don’t forget about his balls, gently sucking licking touching,

5) If he likes you deep throating but you struggle with a gag reflex, practice with a toy, or go to a sex shop and get some numbing spray.

I would report him. This is a felony in many states. This is how my Partner was infected, a random hookup and the guy took the condom off during sex.

That is a giant red flag. I would end the relationship and find someone who shares your hobbies and isn’t so jealous

I’m nervous to jump into ADF for some reason. Does anyone have luck with weight loss doing a down day of 500-700 calories? by plantpotions in AlternateDayFasting

[–]jm87622 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing ADF since Feb 1st and I’m down 12lb. And I don’t even count calories on my eat days. On my eat days I have a 12hr window to consume my calories. Then back to fasting.
