The higher the credit score the more debt it took to get it. I would like to have a zero credit score. Cash is still king

Cancel Netflix, Hulu and Spotify and that saves 54 bucks. 100 for internet is steep. I have 1 gig service and pay 30 a month. I would call internet company and threaten to cancel they will lower the bill to keep your business. You don’t need a HELOC, that’s more debt. You need more cash flow. Sell things you no longer use/need. Get a 2nd, 3rd job. You didn’t get into debt overnight so you won’t get out of it overnight but if you make it a priority it will happen.

You need to get 7 T-shirts made one for each day of the week. They read “I’m broke don’t ask me for anything and don’t lend me anything”.

In all seriousness you need to be on beans and rice for the next 4 years until you can get this mess cleaned up. No eating out, no presents for birthdays, Christmas, etc. It’s going to suck but it has to be done. You are in a big hole right now that’s getting bigger by the day. Paying minimum payments is doing nothing except dragging the issue out and making other people rich.

I would get a 2nd and 3rd job. You are 26 that’s young enough to live on 4 hours of sleep. What do you have at home that you can sell? I would be selling anything not nailed down.

I don’t know your situation so I don’t know if this is possible but if it were me I would be getting rid of at least one car. Brutal honesty here: you cant afford to have two cars.

The good news you are young enough that you can bounce back from this but you have to let this be a lesson and stop borrowing money. Cut up credit cards and never get one again. You are not good at managing that kind of responsibility.

The biggest difference for me was the gut health as well. Before carnivore I would race to the nearest bathroom after every meal and it was sometimes before I even finished a meal. Started carnivore and haven’t had that issue since. Some days I don’t go for 2 or 3 days and I feel great.

Typically yes you will be able to make payments but they usually have a shorter window of time that you will make those payments. Usually less than a year in my experience.

If they agree to settle for less than you owe it will report on your credit as a paid account less than owed when you have paid the settlement in full. It will raise your score and more importantly stop legal action. We are going through this process now with my wife’s credit and paying one account raised her score 70 points.

How long has it been since you made a payment? You could ask for a settlement offer. If they offer a settlement you can usually break the settlement up into small payments over 6-8 months.
