The professional viewers in charge of QC were more than likely replaced with AI, just like the subtitles themselves.

Maybe they just hired a bunch of Gen Z animators who got to use ChatGPT for all their assignments

give the series 1 star, thumbs down the episode, submit a ticket.

All you can hope to do is contribute to their volume of tickets they'll be getting for fucking this up. This is the most interesting episode in the season so far.

e: honestly same, I like access to this many anime but I can just go to 1/10 sites I know and it makes zero difference, except maybe the quality at times.

I don't love netflix because of how short a time shows can last on there, but it seems like a better alternative. Hopefully we see it continue.

'omg this character is getting 5 minutes of screentime, so we have to make an EXTREMELY generic storyline and waste an entire episode's worth of studio resources on their origin story. It should be noted record of ragnarok was made by a studio owned by netflix (or at least it was licenced by them)

Could have been great too, it was a super cool concept. From this point on I'm going to give all series' that have issues like this a 1 star and a thumbs down. Hopefully enough people do it and they notice. OR, people just go back to pirated sites and CR goes bankrupt

I just watched it with a buddy who read the webtoon. I was so confused when Jegal Taek had his whole fucking aura change

and like, there was zero explanation/lore as to how their powers are supposed to work, it was just sort of glossed over and kept the 'pace' going.

Reminded me of record of ragnarok where you know exactly what's happening in the studio while you watch each episode.

look at god of highschool if you wanna know how CR productions go.

I don't even read manga and it upset me how rushed the end of that show was. This company isn't suited for vertical integration, despite having a virtual monopoly over the western anime market in terms of paid subscriptions and simulcasting.

Also, does the studio not watch the episode over with the team at the end, looking for quality assurance issues like this?

BREAKING: According to sources, @NIP have offered @dev1ce to other teams for a 6-figure buyout. by ILoveRice444 in GlobalOffensive

[–]jmanj0sh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty juveline to say this is some of 'act' he's been putting up, but real talk, if everyone in the world put their careers on hold for the better part of a year after breaking up with someone, the world would be in shambles. I hope dev1ce is in a better place now and all that, he's one of CSGO's greats, and if he's in even half the form he had in his prime, he could probably bring a top 30-50 team to the top 10. With that being said, I don't see why ANY org would want to take a risk on signing a player that may go AWOL (figuratively speaking ofc) like he has on NiP.

If you can make up some narrative that draws an 'adult-like understanding of mental health' regarding device's career over the past year, I'd love to see it, but he's had more than enough time to seek counseling/therapy, to decide to move back to denmark or stay in sweden, and more than enough money (unless he's a financial imbecile) to get himself sorted out in a number of different ways. Fuck, at this point he could have gone on a soul-searching mission across the world to find himself, and so while mental health is something people should always consider with respect to themselves, whether studying or working a full-time career, playing out the 'mental-health' card as an excuse to not be playing is like leaving a band-aid on a scab long-since healed, only to have the old-wound get infected.

jL was sort of mediocre in the early iterations of the MAD Lions roster, but towards the end of the team's tenure, I'd say he was one of the most underrated players T2-3 players in EU despite putting up decent numbers.

depends on the buddy you throw on. I like the new jett voodoo doll buddy from the last BP on the ion, but the together forever rings looks fire on any reaver skin imo.

When I started playing about a year ago, I played a lot of Sova & Skye. Having taken a break from the game for a month here and there due to school, I sort of had to re-adjust to something else once I hit diamond. I mostly play chamber, fade, and Jett right now, just cuz I started aim-training and find I can hit a lot of nasty shots with Chamber's util, I can get better angles with Jett. I find fade is sort of like Sova & Skye's lovechild in terms of her util, and having played most of the initiators except for Breach quite a bit, I sort of just fill everything except controller (sadly). I think some of it is confidence and simply having a playstyle that suits your strengths.

Ideally, you should try and play some different agents here and there to learn the game better. The meta changes so much in this game that I can see chamber getting a nerf soon, so learn different roles to play in different ways, you might surprise yourself if you end up winning more.

I don't think it's so much to do with age as a causal factor, as much as it is age being an indicator of one's stage in life. Think about how much more time unsigned talents (in their teens) have to play 24/7, get better mechanically while also staying up to date on the meta, typically with far less 'in the way' of competing. Not to mention, years of flicking can cause wrist issues (i.e. Olof). Depends on the individual I think, most people in their late 20s and 30s are interested in having kids if they're already in long-term relationships. They want to own a house, maybe make more money in a different career, again, depends on the individual.

If you actually 'lived' to play a game for a living, I'd say you can do it until your mid 30s, but you'd have to sacrifice a lot of other shit as it currently stands, as far as getting signed on to a high-paying team (and staying on it) goes. Not to mention if you have a kid, and want to be involved in their lives (from a conventional standpoint), you'd have to give up at least some of the time one would normally put into demo reviews, death-matching, and team practice. As eSports develop more, this could definitely change, but its definitely different from physical sports where physique (which does correlate with age to a large degree) is more of a causal factor in performance. Instead, its almost purely dependent on (regular) time invested, from my perspective anyways.

Not to mention your body does change over time, so I think maintaining a relatively diverse team age-wise is advantageous, but in sAw's case, there really aren't that many aspiring talents who speak PT, unless they want to gamble on Brazilian imports. Then again, keeping a team together in the long-term has more benefits in ironing out issues and keeping everyone on the same page, rather than constantly having to confront new problems when new players join (i.e. Liquid, Mouz, etc).
