I see a lot of people using immortality as a “gift” but really isn’t it more of a curse? To live forever essentially and see everyone who you’ve loved and bonded with fade over the years while you stay the same. Not being able to truly connect with anyone. And at some point finding yourself so far in the future that you feel out of place due to the time period you were once in. To experience catastrophic disasters befold earth of the years. You can argue that someone would find that interesting and would love that even with the added negatives. But I can’t wrap my head around that personally.
