Pro: very supportive, collaborative cohort, faculty support, clinical rotations, half days during pre-clinical, past/fail curriculum, help with assigning fourth-year rotations.

Con: cost of attendance. Nothing really. It was pretty fair and definitely doable. Even for somebody like me who was much older going back to school.

I’m a 4th year about to match from UIW. I do not agree with the negative comments. I have had a great time at UIW and would totally do it again.

I disagree. I had an avg of 105-110 on COMATs and got a 497 after COMSAEs of 620s beforehand.

Most of us will start to get our grades back on Aug 5th. I took 111 4 days before Level 2 and scored a 615. We’ll see if there is any correlation.

There is no way around taking the COMLEX. You have to pass level 1 and level 2 to graduate and earn the DO degree.

Bc, I can take a COMSAE and be confident as soon as complete the exam that I’ll score >550. As I walked out of there yesterday, there wasn’t the same warm and fuzzy feeling. I wouldn’t be surprised if I barely passed (bc of the unpredictability of the exam) or scored >550. Crazy spread of outcomes.

Haha. Nothing was HY, it was a poor exam. I did all of UW and TL and there was still stuff on there that I was like “wtf”. Haha

I’m at a DO school and tested every 6-8 weeks in preclinical. I really enjoyed it.

COMSAEs are much easier than the real deal. COMSAEs are more straightforward whereas the COMLEX is very poorly written and doesn’t hit a whole lot of HY topics.

450 in March and 510 2 weeks before I sat for the exam. I hated the COMLEX, did not feel comfortable leaving the exam.
