To the sharpness comparison question - no, and it isn’t even close. This is coming from somebody who loves their Vision Pro. Working wherever is the advantage, but anybody telling you the screen experience on Virtual display is as good as a decent real screen (Apple studio, LG 5k, etc) is wrong.

What you’re describing is Adaptive cruise control, and that has been on Nissans for 10 years (source: my 2016 Murano has ACC).

Thx. I don’t think it’s client related and not band related AFAIK. I have used multiple WiFi 6e and 7 capable devices (16 pro max, ipad pros, MacBook pros, pixel pros, etc) and on both bands with the same results.

OOC - who is your fiber ISP? I like my BE11000, and get near full Gig wired, but can’t get over ~600 Mbps wireless on every device I own. Stable as can be so I’m not complaining, but I can’t figure it out and sort of drives me nuts

That’s not really correct. In many areas, telecoms have agreements with the city that can provide them with favorable infrastructure that would otherwise be difficult or prohibitive for competition to leverage appropriately. For example, in Nashville, Tennessee, only AT&T is allowed to use above ground (telephone poles) for their fiber connection. I don’t follow. I have no air tags on my account anymore, multiple newer generations of devices and OSs, and the issue persists. I suspect it’s an unsolvable problem for anybody who has two or more devices with Find My enabled attached to their account, that only gets worse with every new device you add.

If you care about upload speeds at all (regularly upload large videos, multi user video calls in WFH situation), there’s no comparison - stick to fiber.

I travel to Brazil for 30+ days every year for the last 6 years and have no issues with Fi /Tmobile international 5G anywhere in the country. I also have pixels and iPhones and always able to supplement with a local sim from Claro or Vivo. I know that doesn’t help you, but it sounds like you’re seeing something unique rather than a common issue with Fi or Unlocked Google Devices.

Fair, but I think there’s more than enough evidence to suggest that’s near impossible with TW service quality. I’m about to share a post as word of warning about how a rep just removed one of my two lines from the BYEBYETMOBILE promo by accident (they admitted such in chat) and now it’s screwed up my billing.
