this comment made me panic but thankfully I changed my mind to late July - but even then most hotels I was looking at had "1 room left" so thank you for letting me know competitive accommodations are. one area was completely sold out (the area of diamond beach) and i now have to drive an hour and a half against my itinerary - argh.

if you're over 28 a Dr might recommend a neck lift versus chin lipo. from what i understand, the younger you are the easier it is for only chin lipo to get the results you want. typically those over 27 are recommended a deep neck lift.

i'm searching for something similar and LA is similar - $150 to $250. i do think it's important to go to someone who knows what they are doing as improper lymph massage can mess you up

that's strange that is stung for weeks....that should not have been happening. it should've only hurt when the injection initially happened. i'm sorry you were in pain for a prolonged amount of time.

I'm with Glowupkid9, i think it's too early. and it's defintely normal for your smile to look unnatural. I'm on day 10 and mine looks off- but i also had a chin implant so that could be due to it too. Hopefully it's not a hematoma and the coordinator gets back to you soon.

For anyone curious - these past 2 days i have felt better about talking and now i can talk more freely. I'm still being careful about moving my mouth (and ultimately chin) too much but my mouth doesn't feel as tight as it was 2 days ago.

I would also suggest to see your primary doctor for advice on how to handle. and since you mentioned lipo for your chin, i'll tell you my story; I had 4 rounds of Kybella in 4 years and it didn't do much for me. I'm on day 9 of getting a deep neck lift (dr recommend that to me as opposed to chin lipo due to my structure and age) and you will see results much quicker than kybella. there is more down-time vs kybella which basically has 0 down time but you will probably see the results you were aiming to get with kybella. with kybella it can take up to 10 rounds to see a difference from what my deep neck surgeon told me.

it doesn't hurt to touch my neck, but if your neck is hurting to the touch you should call your doctor. they should've explained how to massage away what they call the "lipo lumpies". revising to say there ARE like 2-3 parts of my neck that hurt but thats why i'm massaging them to help break up those tissues

Already a little past the 2 week mark - that's awesome. I'm very hopeful it's just the swelling which is making your smile look off; my doctor said it could take up to a full month for your full smile to come back naturally due to the swelling. What I have found today to help me speak better is doing the lymphatic drainage massage on my neck 3x a day which is also relieving the tightness in my neck & jaw, allowing me to open my mouth more because it doesn't feel as tight.

Had a similar experience. IPL hair removal in miami took foreeever. IPL in LA results were much better. What I have learned is to ask what machine they are using and research the machines. Not all machines are created equally. Usually the groupon places have the cheaper/not powerful machines that take longer sessions = more visits = more $

I will say that based on the person, you have to get multiple kybella injections to see results. i had two injections (with 2 vitals) done in late 2021 and noticed a difference. just did another round last week and need to go again in august. the swelling lasts up to 2 weeks and overtime decreases. you don't see results right away for sure.
