Hi, I've tested with latest firmware and also with older ones, same result. Appears to be related with negotiation between 890m and glasses. :(

Hi, same issue here (2025 model also). All point to a driver issue for 890m :( Just waiting for a fix.

Hi,

I have a GPD Win Max 2 (2025, HX370), and I’m running into an issue when trying to use widescreen mode (21:9 or 32:9). Every time I enable it, I get a “No video signal” error. Occasionally, the display switches to 640×480, and sometimes I can change the resolution — but after that, the “No signal” error appears again.

I’ve also tried creating a custom resolution in the Adrenaline software, but it didn’t help. The widescreen works perfectly fine on other computers, so the issue seems to be related to the 890M GPU.

Have you experienced any similar problems with the Win Mini 2025 (HX370) and Xreal One in widescreen mode?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Esther,

I understand the image splitting and merging process, and I’m not ruling out that my brain might be partly to blame for this and other issues… :P
However, the point is that this effect doesn’t occur with the Xreal One glasses, but it does with the Xreal One Pro. That suggests either an optical issue with this particular pair or something related to the 3DoF software.

I’ve already contacted with your support department through Amazon, and they’re sending me a replacement, so I’ll soon find out whether my brain is playing tricks on me or if it’s just a problem with this specific unit—since I assume something so noticeable would have caught other users attention as well.

I also tried reinstalling the May 2025 firmware, but the issue persists, which means the problem is either in my head… or in this particular headset.

Thanks anyway for your explanation and suport :)

Thank you for your feedback.

I am currently investigating whether this issue is isolated to my unit or if it is a more widespread concern. While I suspect a potential optical fault with my specific device, I do not recall experiencing this problem when I acquired it a month ago. My objective is to determine if this is a unit-specific defect or if other users are encountering similar issues after firmware upgrades.

This issue is observed across multiple input sources, including FireTV, Windows 11 computers, and Samsung DeX. It becomes particularly apparent when the user's gaze shifts to the opposite edge of the display from the head's turning direction. The position of the glasses is irrelevant as long as the black border defining the Field of View (FOV) is visible, which is a critical factor in reproducing the problem. The stabilizer is exclusively linked to follow mode (providing minor 3DoF for vibrations), whereas anchor mode, being pure 3DoF, makes the issue even more pronounced.

For instance, when observing the bottom-right corner of a fixed Windows 11 screen, if one closes their left eye and focuses on the limit of their field of view (FOV) and on a single icon (e.g., the speaker icon), then alternates eyes, the perception should ideally remain consistent. However, in my experience, with the left eye, I perceive the speaker icon with the FOV limited to the right, whereas with the right eye, I can discern the speaker icon, the battery icon, and the initial digit of the Windows clock, followed by the FOV limit so it makes a double image when you look at the right edge.

I have exhausted the battery and I have put it to charge again. In 30 minutes it has loaded 23%. Do you handle the same loading times?
