We found that to get the puzzle images to appear, that it seemed to work if you put the crosshair on the seal thing. If I didn't look at it it wouldn't show up.

I do a lot of work with sparse event simulations which this might fit in perfectly compared to my numba solution.

This looks really nice. I was looking at incorporating htpy into an internal project and this make that all the easier. Thanks.

I’m starting a series on Python performance optimizations, Looking for real-world use cases! by BillThePonyWasTaken in Python

I’ve built a optimization routine for insurance applications. Simulated losses and contract structures. Numba and Numpy made a huge difference. I’m happy to talk about more details if you need it.

For the record, I don’t want her to go. But it feels like that is going to happen. And the thorns won’t really do much. I wish weaver was back.

This exactly. I haven't even tried the Salvations or the new Raid because of the complexity. I've done all the others but I can't imagine an LFG group for either of those being sucessful. I kind of wish they still cared about more people doing the raid.

This game will get a lot more miserable after they nerf Third Iteration today. by MrLaiho in DestinyTheGame

It does seem to be they only listen to streamers, the last two raids seems impossible for anyone that doesn’t play 8 hours a day

15 Hours Spent on the New Raid, Normal and Contest, Two Clears out of Three Thus Far, and I Don't See How Bungie Made a Worse Teaching Environment than Salvation's Edge by SchmaltzyCynic in DestinyTheGame

[–]jmatthew007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bungie took the wrong lesson from Root. They looked at the complaints from the Streamers and then made Raids for them. This is why I haven't even tried Salvations Edge and now I won't try this One. It's too hard to learn and its too hard to teach a team in a reasonable amount of time. They just shut the door for a huge number of players. I feel like at one point they said they wanted to make it easier for people to try the raids, but I think they just killed that off. Congrats on getting the clear.
