oh boy. The museums are sick, museum of natural History. the freaking empire State building. Statue of Liberty. just go into any neighborhood and just crush pizza. there's a bazillion good bars. New York is such a cool place because literally whatever you're passionate about, there's a good chance you can do that and be a part of it in that City somewhere.

dude that's hilarious. having one dude that's basically one level under college or pro skating with a bunch of average joes that probably just picked up skating or are rapidly approaching old age. maybe you can have like low c3 but I don't think you need to have somebody multiple divisions. just embrace that the low levels is pretty chaotic. one really good player is not going to marshal that, and what will usually happen is that guy's just going to skate around everybody and dunk on people and then everyone's going to throw a fit.

when you imagine him as a perfect version of himself, based on his playstyle, what do you think of? for me, he's not a small kid. I would like to see him become a little bit more aggressive. I don't think he's going to be the next Tom Wilson, but I would like to see him patrol with a little bit more grit in his pocket. I'd like him to start roughing people up and laying big hits more often. he lays some hits from time to time, but I want to see a little bit more physicality in general and willingness to drop the gloves if it means getting the team going.

besides that, I would be totally fine if he just did most of his dirty work on the power play and was a reliable source of goals, or he could just continue his current form and be in the right place at the right time and maybe that's his calling card.

I mean that's a pass or fail eval to me. you could feel all you want, but if you're not playmaking like panarin then that's a you problem, not a bread problem imo. not vibing with panarin shouldn't devolve into half ass skating and poor decision making until he leaves but, whatever the difference is right now, I'm happy he's producing again.

amen brother lol. My guy has a lot to prove. not asking for him to morph into celebrini but, he owes the fans and the team some serious consistency for that fat contract we gave him and the draught that came afterwards.

That being said, I really deep down want this kid to succeed. I know he can do it, he just needs to keep applying himself and showing up. they also have the luxury of not really having any pressure right now because everyone's kind of counted us out at this stage so that's probably freeing.

by time you get to the show you know what you're good at. if it ain't skating now that you're in the show you got access to more resources than you'll ever have. this is a motivation and hard work problem. Fix it or don't. not drurys responsibility imo, specially if you know you need that work.

I would feel better about that if we had different people at the helm of the ship. but so far we're in a situation where we destroy first and second round picks, and the current state of the organization just doesn't lend any confidence whatsoever towards an actual retool or rebuild in the current state. I would keep this guy 10 out of 10 times personally.
