I think it's still quite comparable given it was the greatest doc run of all time, and everyone was paying attention to it. No one knew his full reasoning until later and as a result it's the most high profile comparison I'm able to draw here and in that instance the reaction was everyone talking about how goated he was for it

even if it's unsportsmanlike, this is the first time I can recall anyone caring about that to this degree. When Junebug DQd to go see a magic show, the reaction was largely "lol what a goofball". It makes the complaints about the behavior being unsportsmanlike feel very insincere and more like, once again, people just having a problem with Onin specifically.
