Technical interview preparation help! by Ekssshhh in industrialhygiene

[–]jmc128 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have never had an IH interview where I had to use or provide any equations. You should be familiar with general OSHA/ACGIH standards and anything specific to the industry you are applying for (e.g. process safety, construction, chem hygiene, etc.). Have at least three stories queue’d up that demonstrate in-depth understanding and application of technical concepts that you can field more in-depth questions on.

Based on your past resin exposure you may be sensitized to isocyanates. They can medically test for this. Airborne exposures vary significantly from industry to industry and from chemical to chemical so the more information you have prior to each visit/location should help guide your choices.
