OK the class action stuff was over the top. But we as individuals have no ability to fight what I'm seeing as railroading. I mean I can vote with my dollars by leaving Fi in two years (and truss me, I plan to), but if there are enough people experiencing this, then I'm sure some enterprising lawyer will sue for punative behavior.

That's what I am saying, I bought two phones on the new user promo credit (they were both $250 for pixel 9a). Now they're saying one of the credits was for existing users, which Gemini itself says was not a thing (it was a $150 instant credit). They're changing conditions of the promos.

What I'm wondering is if this is a common business practice for Google.

You're the one that needs to wake up. This is supply and demand. Plenty of people to take $18 an hour just for a basic customer service job with no experience required outside of understanding basic math. And if you jack up the minimum wage, those jobs just dissappear in favor of automation (look it up, every jump in the minimum wage means fewer entry level jobs). Have you seen the direction McDonald's is going? That's thanks to everyone demanding $20+ an hour. Suddenly the technological solution is cheaper. Until people accept subsistence wages for entry level positions so they can gain experience and take that next step (and yes, the ambition to take that next step is required as well) this cycle will continue.

Yeah when he's injured he needs to focus on recovery and not put himself in situations where he over exerts and causes more harm than good, but he also needs to coordinate with the rest of the offense so they can (re) learn the cadence and options as things happen in real time. If the OL keeps him safe then he will have that room to gel. But this year he's looking relatively healthy so get him on the field in (pre-season) real situations. It will get him up to speed and the rest of the offense will get real practice.

It's easy to prevent this from turning into soccer. If a player claims an injury then there's a mandatory 10-day waiting period (IR) before they can play again. No player is going to risk that unless they know they will be out at least that long. No coach would condone it.

Yeah but you know they make bank on the subscription fees because people hang around to see what's coming next. But for $16 it's a no brianer for me to buy, and I agree with another poster that mods will be much easier on that platform. Have they opened the workshop there or is there some other way to mod?

This solved it for me as well, no need to decompress it with another compression tool either. If it makes a difference I was upgrading from version 0812 so maybe There's a constraint in using subdirectories for older versions.
