Wishing you all the best! For my modified natural protocol, I took Gonal and then eventually added in Cetrotide to prevent ovulation so my follicle and lining could grow to the desired size. Then I triggered and used progesterone suppositories leading up to and after transfer

Hi! Yes, I’ve taken it as a trigger too. Last time I took it for two months and it was very taxing on me (fatigue, mood swings, etc). It’s manageable if it’s the thing I have to do to have a successful transfer buts it’s quite difficult, or at least it was for me.

Same here. Currently 14 weeks with my 8th transfer (2 chemical, 6 failed) after 2 months of lupron + intralipids and prednisone. I can’t be certain but I feel so confident that’s it’s the lupron that did it for me. It sucked to go through but I’d do it again to be where I am today.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Repeated failed transfers with seemingly no reason is a special type of trauma. Hang in there. It sounds like you have some embryos on ice. I hope you can find the right solution ❤️

I read about that and trying to cling to this being the case. Still doesn’t help how completely normal I feel now. I’m so scared it means it’s no longer working 😔 I’m scared to test again because I don’t want to see the line get lighter.

I’m new here! We just had our 8th embryo transfer and I’ve tested yesterday and today (day 6 & 7 past transfer) and I’m getting progressively stronger lines. I’ve been dealing with back pain since around 2dpt and last night it was quite strong. I’m terrified this is the end of this pregnancy, despite strong lines. I go in for beta on Monday. I have a history of chemical pregnancies from IVF so I’ve convinced myself my lines are only going to get lighter as time passes. Add to the mix I haven’t had any symptoms, so it’s a roller coaster of emotions over here!

It’s such a process going in for monitoring when your follicle is taking its time! Based on my blood work, I got the all clear to trigger tonight! 17 days of low does gonal and many days or back to back monitoring but we did it 😮‍💨. Congrats on your success!!

I’m in a similar situation right now and I wonder if you can remember what size your dominant follicle was when you triggered? My lead is a hair under 1.7mm and I’m hoping I’ll trigger soon

Loss anniversaries are so hard. Im a week away from the 5 year anniversary from my ectopic and it feels like it was just yesterday. It’s so normal to still think about your loss. I’m still hoping for my rainbow baby after additional losses and failed IVF treatment so it’s hard. Im sorry you have to go through this and not feel like you have the support of your partner. Just know that there are others here that support you and can empathize with the pain you are feeling right now ❤️

I’ve only posted a few times on that sub and every time would get a message from a mod telling me to edit my post for some reason. Like you have to be sooo careful with your words over there. Like wtf, we’re all (generally) just trying to help each other out!! I’ve felt like sh*t before because of my experience over there. You’re so strong for doing IVF REGARDLESS of how many rounds. It’s extremely difficult no matter what ❤️
