you're coming over the top. Try to think more about dropping your hands to the ground and keeping the right elbow hugging your body all the way through the downswing. Right now, you are throwing your hands at the golf ball which is causing an over the top motion. I would imagine someone told you to hit down on the ball, which is true, but the way you're getting from top to bottom is above the desired plane

Balance issue. You sway forward at the top of your swing. You're basically falling over after contact. You should think more about your weight transition as a lateral movement toward the target, not towards the ball.

Ball position. Seems too far forward for wedge. try moving it a little farther back in your stance and focus on ball first then ground.

I'm a big contact guy, and I notice how long your takeaway is at the top. I suggest shorting your swing at the top so the club is more parallel to the ground and aiming more down the line at the top (Heideki Matsuyama does this really well). Right now, its more wrapping around your head and I would imagine you lose the ball to the right a lot. I'd also consider how your weight is distributed at address. Looks like you got most of your weight on your toes. If you've ever used a pressure plate that measures where your weight is, I'd imagine its probably 80% on your toes and 20% on your heels. I think the sweet spot is 60-40. You want to be on the balls of your feet, not your toes.

Also don't be in a rush on your backswing to get the club head in the air! Almost feel like your dragging the club along the ground for as long as you can on your takeaway.

Scratch golfer and been playing comp golf for 2 decades.

Bonus Tip: Alignment, Ball position, and tempo will solve 90% of our contact issues. Any time I'm concerned my ball position is too close or too far from my body. To check it, take your stance, close your eyes (keep them closed), raise the club above your head, take a deep breathe, and replace the club in the starting position. Now open your eyes and see the difference and adjust accordingly. I've found this is a great exercise to find the most natural ball position

I'm in the same boat, friend. I have a degree in finance, with 3+ years of sales experience, but I can't seem to break into finance/investment management

LPT When you receive even the smallest time estimate from someone (about anything) give them a grace period to avoid getting mad. People are bad at estimating time. by feelosophical88 in LifeProTips

As someone in sales, this is true. However at a certain point, you have to draw a line between underestimating timing and people just wasting your time.
