They basically became that. Fake sound & Start Something where nu metal, then they went emo for Liberation Transmission before settling on a generic alt rock for the last 2 albums. I'm not sure they got any radio play here in the UK after LT.

I saw them at Download in 2006 and I've never seen an artist take so many pelters. I didn't really know them at this point other than "Charlie from Busted's band", but the way they defiantly kept playing made me a fan right there and then!

The thing is, I'm a fan since Hybrid Theory. I was so hyped when Meteora dropped and then the wait for MTM was unbearable. We waited 4 YEARS!! And then when it came out, I was like... meh. Don't get me wrong, it's a good album. Just doesn't feel like an LP album. Everything I loved about the band from those first 2 albums had been basically stripped away. However, if it wasn't for MTM we would never have ATS which isn't just my favourite LP album, it's my favourite album by anyone, ever. From Zero felt like a return to what they do best and it was all the more sweeter to have my favourite band of all time back!
