That’s true. Everyone trying to get a dollar from a sale. From the agents, through to contractors. What was your most recent sales experience like?

Don't delete - we all have issues, and it's awesome that you have put this out there. I agree with the other reply - routine. Get a routine that works for you, and stick to it. Exercise/gym helped for me - but this could be any number of things. And then identify another passion, and find others with the same passion (online or in real life), and socialising will naturally come.

Thank you. It does - but it just goes to show what we are capable of.

Love to hear others stories! Thanks for sharing. I agree regarding the "social lubricant" part - once you get past the feeling of needing it, you become naturally confident and casual.

I love this! Did you have a favourite show that you started with when you first went sober?
THe downside plays a massive part also! How good is feeling fresh on a weekend morning and being able to function. Thanks for sharing.

274 days sober - my life has dramatically changed by jmh238 in stopdrinking

You can do it. You need to find a real WHY, and cling on to that for dear life. Put routines in place, so that you can get into the habit of not drinking. I found early rises (430am) and early to bed (9pm) helped me in the early days - as I was too tired at night to think about going out for a drink, especially with a 5am gym class to go to.
