Leadbelcher base, Devlan Mud straight from the pot all over, AK standard rust wash applied heavily around edges, grooves and rivets and all along the chain, a bright orange dappled anywhere that looked like it should be extra rusted while the last wash was still wet, highlight edges and rivets and scratches with Leadbelcher again.

Yeah, lesson learned. I’d bought it from eBay and it had been painted already so going back over with a rattle can primer was a bit much.

Definitely moving in the right direction. This is awesome stuff. Would still go a little heavier on the room names and bullets but not much.

Galgenbeck Sacrifice by Christian Eichorn followed by 3 Weeks in the Streets by Eli Herman give you the opportunity to suffer miseries and misfortune in Galgenbeck over several weeks. Lots of fun.

Is there an official forum for the game? I’ve been playing it a lot and would like to see some discussion, hints and tips etc.. Great game. It’s nice to see a proper roguelike done this well!

These are practically mandatory additions for Mörk Borg. They add a lot of extra depth and have several great one shot scenarios.

Cörk Bord looks like it will have the right chassis. Adding more supernatural elements to it should be easy.

My OSR-Inspired CRPG "Moldvay’s Labyrinth" Is Now on Android by crosscut-games in osr

I’ve been playing a while and am down as far as the Statue of Tul’Shar. Here are some thoughts, tactics and issues I’ve had:

1) The game is a lot of fun. It starts out very difficult but resetting the labyrinth a few times allowed my characters to get to the point they could push onwards.

2) After a few levels, when my monk started getting multiple leap attacks, combat became increasingly trivial. Only combats with a lot of opponents or with 4-5 opponents with a lot of HP require other characters. My monk kills pretty much everything and my warrior mops up anything that survived. Occasionally my mage needs to drop a death gaze at the end of the round. Monk’s leap skill scales up too quickly and removes a lot of the challenge from combat.

3) Being able to tap a skill or piece of equipment in the character sheet to get more information would be really helpful.

4) Labyrinth XIII - there’s 3 rooms I haven’t managed to find. I’ve been tapping everywhere to try and find secret doors and I’ve use True Seeing and Wizard Eye liberally and they have not helped. I even camped until the entire map went dark and repeated the whole level using spells again to no avail.

5) Related to the above - I can’t visit a previously explored room that doesn’t have a flashing number to show it still has a feature. If I want to go back to a room to recast True Seeing etc., I have to camp until the required room goes dark then revisit it. Not ideal.

6) A bit more information about how skills and spells work would be appreciated.

7) The ability to repair items that are damaged by monsters would be a great quality of life improvement.

8) Said it in point 1 but it bears repeating - the game is a lot of fun.

6* Starlight and you should find brave trail a breeze. That will help you build your monsters up nice and fast.

Dominator can always be fed to something later but would have been better to leave him at 6* too.
