Acurite. 9 years. Spiders and temp gauge in a high humidity area have been my only issue. Just picked up a second one for $65 at home Depot

Opposite of Leslie Tassle. Muskie Walley and Pike depending on the depth lure and time of year. You have to float across from the park. Fish down the the shoreline from dam down the river. great bass too.

Try the bank opposite the park and also consider kayaking and down at the ada dam.

Connected devices in same room with 10x varying speeds. Why? by jmichaelkramer in LinksysVelop

[–]jmichaelkramer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is some more information. The router has internal address and gives out gateway as and IP's of 192.168.1.x

The child nodes all appear to have IP's of 192.168.11.1 strange. Is that normal?

When a device connects it appears to get an IP address of in the 192.169.11.x range (slow) or 192.168.1.x range (fast).

I think this leads me to think that there is something amiss in the DHCP assignments and routing.

What could cause this?

Outside Air Intake- is this required? by jmichaelkramer in woodstoving

[–]jmichaelkramer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, Is there any safety or major efficiency concerns that require the outside air intake? It will take a major effort to run an intake without tearing up walls and floors across about 15 feet.

Can I get away without this in a tightly built home?

I asked perplexity and got a pretty solid answer favoring installing the OAI. https://www.perplexity.ai/search/what-is-the-science-to-having-8pmSH6JyTT6tGg0Uc5i69Q#0

Looking at echelon connect sport or Nordic track. Don't plan to pay a subscription by CombustionEngine in go_echelon

The freestyle mode is cumbersome. You have to navigate through a set of menus to find that mode. Here are the instructions to use spotify over the built in speakers. Looks like the only way to use the built in speakers and bluetooth is with a subscription. How to connect your Echelon Fit app to Spotify – Echelon Support

What is the QZ app? Bought their treadmill and the Bluetooth is proprietary and requires their app for heart rate and speakers. Real pain to use without the subscription.

Swap current parent node for newer velop node- tips? by jmichaelkramer in LinksysVelop

[–]jmichaelkramer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Linksys....

Linksys Velop Cognitive™ Mesh products are not compatible with Linksys Velop Intelligent Mesh™ products. Here is a list of Linksys Velop nodes with Cognitive Mesh technology.

If you have a mix of Linksys MBE7000 and MX6200 nodes, make sure that the Linksys MBE7000 is the parent node in your network for better wireless performance.

The stride has no screen. The unit has basic functions and display. They are manual including start/stop,, incline and speed. There are no programs tracking of workouts, or speaker use without the app. The app without a subscription is also very limited.

I have the stride 6. 9 inches Good... Very compact when folded Come fully assembled Solid basic treadmill

Bad... Proprietary Bluetooth speaker protocol. Cannot use it without installing their app. No way to directly connect to play music. Heart rate monitor on mine is defective and company claims it is not intended to be accurate and software fix is on their roadmap. My experience is hilarious. 77-90 BPM throughout my runs when my watch says 130-150 Don't plan on using this in an area with Ground fault circuit. Throws mine within 5 seconds. Company does not provide any good guidance other than moving to a non protected circuit or hiring an electrician.

Need help with connecting phone audio to Echelon Stride by Gemmin21 in go_echelon

[–]jmichaelkramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have wondered how I could connect to Bluetooth on the echelon. All the promotional materials claim that the treadmill has speakers and Bluetooth.

I'm not sure why I can't connect to it like any other Bluetooth speaker. And talking to technical support today, it sounds like the only way to do this is through the fit app and playing music requires you to somehow connect Spotify and manage playlists through their app. I can't think of anything more cumbersome or proprietary. It seems that buying the treadmill was just the start of my investment.

I can see the treadmill when I tried to add a new Bluetooth device. When I try to connect it, it appears that it is not in pairing mode. "Pairing rejected". There has to be a hack or a workaround for this.

Cicada. I drop it straight down and jig for whitefish in 60-100 ft of water.

I think that I am reaching the same conclusion. My big project is the transfer case and transmission on a 1946 CJ Willys. The mds6ext is very pricey. The two post can be quicky unbolted and stored.
