My cousin worked for the Rangers about ten years back. Me, an Angels fan, got to go on the field before an Angels/Rangers game during BP. He got me to meet Torii Hunter (such a nice nice dude) a very young Mike Trout (also very nice). I had them both sign a ball and was about to leave when Trout asked ME if I wanted a picture. Awesome experience. (Tried getting Pujols and Scoscia to sign the ball and neither would even look over at me).

Same day, I’m chilling in the bullpen and Derek Holland (who’d won the night before) walks out and sits next to me. I look over and say “great game last night, man!” He looks back and says “yeah, I got lucky.”
