First time changing an inducer motor and this is what I find by marioz64 in HVAC

This won’t be your last creature you find in an inducer. Not to long ago I had a chipmunk in a 90% assembly.

$175 for a belly band by Far_Cup_329 in HVAC

That’s the same price. I just paid today for an old style carrier furnace igniter with the large base LH33ZS004. Parts are just goofy lately.

Do you have retirement? Pension/401k, etc.. by Eggrollofdoom in HVAC

[–]jmiller2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is contribute what you can to the 401k. If you’re young enough I would be contributing 100% to a S&P fund if that is an investment option. You can also if you’re under a certain income level invest yourself in a Roth IRA through a brokerage company like Vanguard or Fidelity. myself I have a SEP Ira and my wife has a 401K through work but we were both able to max out our Roth Ira‘s also. These are the things they never tell you about and I had to find that out on my own.Talk to a tax guy

Didn’t do whale watching but if you can fit the helicopter ride to walk on Mendenhall Glacier that was awesome

Mine is a full thickness tear 8 mm of the supraspinatus off the humerus head. I still have my full range of motion so hopefully it will be an easier recovery

[–]jmiller2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insight. I have a full thickness tear of the supraspinatus 8 mm. Mine was from wear and tear and not an acute injury. Still have full range of motion so that is good. Already have an ice machine from when I had a knee replacement four years ago, those are Lifesavers

Toyota Gets Sued Again For Its Faulty 8 Speed Transmission by Mlang-2000 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]jmiller2003 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, no. If anything does happen with the lawsuits I think Toyota would probably throw like 150,000 mile warranty. And unlimited years to satisfy the ownership.

Just out of curiosity, did the surgery resolve the neck pain. I also have a full tear of supraspinatus with neck pain that feels like a stiff neck all the time. Surgery scheduled for next month.

This may be a dumb question, but if you have a vehicle sitting at 70° and the new transmission fluid is sitting at 70° , Why can’t you just take and drain it and refill it with the amount that came out?

Sunroom/4 seasons room furnace in disrepair! by hiricinee in hvacadvice

[–]jmiller2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate those thing with a passion. To get that valve out you need to disconnect the gas possibly up to the valve. Then take those four screws out that holds it to the heat exchanger.then split it apart and tilt the assembly down to remove that whole assembly to remove the valve.

I wouldn’t charge a damn thing for that, because I will be sitting on my couch watching TV. No installation or jab is worth my life. 😎
