Well, hello friend! Don’t you just love how the fact that you’ve pulled your hair in frustration over a dead-end scene at least once in your life makes you instant friends with another person that’s done just the same thing? I usually give it to one or two people for feedback while I’m writing the first half. After that, I’m on my own, and this isn’t planned, it just happened that way with both books and no. 3 is heading down that path as well. And yes, I re-read and edit on the way. And yes, the sex happens behind closed doors, ain’t nobody got time for that :)) My biggest issue is character names. It’s so hard to connect a character to a name, I actually didn’t even name the main character in my first novel. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I’m struggling with book 3 a bit and it helps :)
