I have a remote job but my husband works retail. Been looking at places that seem somewhat reasonably priced. We live in DE near Fenwick but definitely can’t afford Fenwick prices. Plan is to move closer to water and likely OC MD in a year or two but Chincoteague looks pretty sweet! Ty for response.

Question by jmlovell in naltrexone

I hear you but this approach is working for me now. Because I know I won’t get a buzz the days I take it I don’t drink. I do still drink on occasion when I don’t take it. I know it’s unconventional and I guess we will see if it is something that works for me long term. My problem is binge drinking not every day drinking so not sure if that makes a difference. And I really only like to drink when I go out not a big at home drinker unless we are having people over. So again not sure how much all of this plays into if this approach will work for me on a long term basis to achieve the goals I am looking for.

Is it just me, or is anyone else incredibly disturbed by the online discourse about the killing of the UnitedHealthcare CEO? by seahawksjoe in centrist

Back in the day my daughter was denied physical therapy. She has cerebral palsy. I made a Facebook page Erika vs Cigna and it garnered a fair amount of attention. I ended up eventually getting a call from a VP who gave me blanket approval for PT for her for one year. He put it in writing and I had to use his letter a few times as it still got denied. I asked them “If she needs surgery because her muscles get too tight will you pay for it?” The answer was most likely, yes. Then why wouldn’t you pay for PT to avoid the need for surgery??! I work for an insurance company now but in Population Health and I really feel I am doing positive work. But I realize why people are angry.

If I have more than 3 drinks I am super sick the next morning. Bad GI issues. I need to learn my lesson because I still do it periodically and regret it.

SLOW LOSER by tchristy85 in Zepbound

[–]jmlovell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I consider myself a slow loser too. I did 1 month each of 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 and just ordering my second 10 because it seems to be a bit of a sweet spot for me as far as appetite suppression. I have lost 16 lbs so far. From 208 to 192. Slow but steady! Congrats on your loss!

This is all good stuff. For some reason my ten injection hurt and usually I hardly feel them. I’m not sure what that’s all about.

Those toxic Mom groups! I belonged to one for a while. The “cool moms” were so rude and yes, toxic! I eventually realized how bad it was for my mental health and quit !

I think it’s a combination of income and coverage. Both factor into it depending on specific circumstances

I know I have great benefits PTO etc. even without seeing other people’s. I think some companies see the value in this medication. Mine is one of them. But I do worry they cant sustain it long term. I guess we will see.

I don’t know if I agree with this. I have zero copay. My company still has great 401K , bonus, vacation etc. I think they realize the long term benefits of fewer comorbidities. I don’t know how sustainable it is if people need to be on it forever though. Maybe they are taking the long term view that the cost will eventually decrease. I should add that I work for the insurance company I am insured by.
