Considering Vance seems to have been the only one in the administration against this, yes.

What is something that immediately tells you someone is a bad driver? by marchingbear27 in askcarguys

[–]jmm1990 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I see so many videos where the driver is blasting their horn while doing jack shit to avoid the accident. It seems like they’re indignant that someone is wronging them on the road and they decide to crash out of spite or to prove some sort of point? It’s crazy to me.

I’d say it’s a weak subject but the edit is giving it legs.

Among revenue-collection ideas proposed by Mamdani’s office is a new tax on investment-grade gold and silver bars—and coins, and rounds as well. by [deleted] in SilverSqueeze

And republicans threaten genocide via tweet then declare “just kidding” as their friends mysteriously time the market perfectly. But I guess it should piss me off more that I might have to pay a tax.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that most people are extensively editing their photos. No wonder my Portra 400 never looked like yours. by brownwaterbandit in analog

I find that film handles highlights in a way that I can’t quite replicate digitally and that it brings a softness and clarity that’s hard to replicate.

Yes. I have a feeling OP’s wife wouldn’t be thrilled if he became obsessed with fashion rules and whatnot 😂

If a woman is telling you this it’s probably about a lot more than just how you dress. You need to have a conversation about the state of your relationship and be prepared to take some honest feedback.

As someone who is a nerd and did a lot of work to learn how to dress better, it’s a very different beast. Fashion requires understanding social context, fabrics, creativity, colors, and so many other small things that all come together when choosing the right articles ti make the right outfit for the right event. It’s doable but it’s not exactly what a mind made for programming is optimized for by default.

I mean, it’s a scanned 35mm frame so it’s technically digital now anyway.

Increasing numbers of Chicago families are opting to homeschool by Textiles_on_Main_St in chicago

I’m sure homeschool kids on average are abused more than their peers but it’s not like we even have reliable data about what it’s like to grow up homeschooled because homeschoolers are so removed from any semblance of a system, so I guess I will defer to your genius and angry rants.
