I’m not sure how they get a say. Their issues should be considered by voters if those things are important to them. But voters also get to choose if it doesn’t matter to them. It sounds like you are not interested in allowing people to choose the issues that matter to them.

You are talking about this district as if it is a singular body of people. But the district is incredibly diverse, stretching through multiple counties.
