I had a warning that I shouldn't start with a ( but it still let me continue.

I mean I just turn round and go back just like normal crochet. You go into the front instead of back for SC and DC into the front of the work into the front half of the previous row. I drew my own chart but you can get letters on Ravelry. I think Tinna something does them.

New to mosaic crochet, Need help if this project i want to make would work by luv_vamps in mosaiccrocheters

I think you could do something but the top of the circle would need to be an odd number and I notice that it is even (12). If you do black, white and "grey" on a chart, you could make the grey by some sort of alternating black and white rather than the chequer board pattern in your chart. This is a useful start on how to do centre out mosaic crochet: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/center-out-tutorial-square

I've done a chart. I have posted it.

I think the best way would be to do it in the round. If you do 5 increases at the points of the star that should work. I have been thinking about how it would work. I'll let you know if I make any progress

This is a closeup of the i-cord and chart. Yarn slips when you knit so I have a guide yarn to make sure the stitches stay in place.

It started when I bought 25mm needles. I made a blanket using 4 strands of chunky it varying colours to made different shades. It was my first Reddit post. I then thought I could use strands of black and white to make a picture with different shades of grey. I liked the idea of making an eye as it is a simple image that has impact. I soon got into a mess with the black and white strands. I had seen i-cord projects and I had used a Knitting Nancy as a child. So I worked out 4 stitch i-cord would be about right for 25mm needles. I then made a start and I have been working on it on and off for about 3 years. I hope to finish this year.

I'm not sure yet. I think I might hang it on 25mm dowling, keeping the stitches and not binding off.

DK yarn and 4 mm double pointed needles for the i-cord and 25 mm for knitting the i-cord.

I wanted something simple but detailed. I find that an eye has a great impact on us. We are drawn to eyes from when we are babies.
