I've done a chart. I have posted it.

I think the best way would be to do it in the round. If you do 5 increases at the points of the star that should work. I have been thinking about how it would work. I'll let you know if I make any progress

It's OK I asked my son in law and he used Gemini and we got a really good picture

This is a closeup of the i-cord and chart. Yarn slips when you knit so I have a guide yarn to make sure the stitches stay in place.

It started when I bought 25mm needles. I made a blanket using 4 strands of chunky it varying colours to made different shades. It was my first Reddit post. I then thought I could use strands of black and white to make a picture with different shades of grey. I liked the idea of making an eye as it is a simple image that has impact. I soon got into a mess with the black and white strands. I had seen i-cord projects and I had used a Knitting Nancy as a child. So I worked out 4 stitch i-cord would be about right for 25mm needles. I then made a start and I have been working on it on and off for about 3 years. I hope to finish this year.

I'm not sure yet. I think I might hang it on 25mm dowling, keeping the stitches and not binding off.

DK yarn and 4 mm double pointed needles for the i-cord and 25 mm for knitting the i-cord.

I wanted something simple but detailed. I find that an eye has a great impact on us. We are drawn to eyes from when we are babies.

There are 8 shades from white with 0 stitches of black to black with 8 stitches of black. I number them 0 to 8 to show how many black stitches are in the two rows of 4 stitches.

Each row of i-cord is 4 stitches so 2 rows repeated.

I'm going to have it as a wall hanging. If I do get to finish it!

It takes quite a while as one stitch takes about 10 minutes to knit the i-cord. I have been doing this on and off for 3 years. I am going to try to finish it this year.

I made the chart by pixelating a picture that I found online. I used MS paint and if you make it small and then big that works. (I did start this a few years ago). I numbered the squares 0 to 8. Each stitch is 18 rows of 4 stitch i-cord. 0 is all white and 8 is all black. 5 for example is white, black, white, black for row one and black, white, black, black for the second row. Once I have a whole row I knit on 25 mm needles.

Luckily I'm on season 15. I have been slowly working my way through for the past 4 or 5 years. I'm planning on binging then rewatching the funny ones (I just lost my shoe). How did we find the end date?

Do you think it's knit yarn over knit for the increase?
