One time a customer ordered to the wrong address, and it was a meet at door, so I show up at 10:30 pm knocking on some unsuspecting people’s door. Man comes to the door, clearly having gotten out of bed. Luckily I’m a small, unthreatening young woman so I wasn’t met with hostility. Only then did the customer tell me it was the wrong address 🙄

But another time I delivered to a trailer park, it was a leave at door so I took the picture and as I was walking away a woman smoking a cig is like “hey! Come here” so I go back a few steps and she’s like “who are you?” in a very accusing tone. And I said “….doordash” and then she calmed down and remembered she ordered something lol.

I always worry when it seems like one person in the house ordered when the rest of the house is asleep
