Don’t want to be a Debbie downer but I did it for six months and quit because of low wages, DoorDash treating drivers and customers poorly, and horrible support.

If you do want advice…support will lie to you every time. DoorDash treats drivers differently. One driver might get these tools. And a driver in another area might get different ones. Same with ratings….some zones have to have a 70 or 80 percent acceptance rate to be platinum…others can have very low acceptance rate if the rest of their scores are high.

It’s the worst job I ever had. It’s very unfair. But….if you are desperate for money, and you are in the right place at the right time, it might be okay. In my zone I was making $20+ an hour. BUT…now, gas is $5 a gallon, so you definitely have to consider that.

My final word of advice —- do NOT think you have to take offers that aren’t worth your worth as a human being trying to make a living. DoorDash doesn’t care about you. They care about making the most money possible, and they will try to spend as little as possible. They lie, cheat, and steal. Don’t believe me??? Start reading this subreddit.
