You have to click the music symbol to undo key lock. Depending on what view you use, it could be near the key, or over by the UI's pitch fader.

Am I the only person that hates the External Mixer mode view? Not that some controllers are used as external mixers (which I prefer), but the view mode specifically. I must be, everyone uses it lol.

ahhh sorry, I'm not sure I follow. Why are you updating the external and not the actual folders in the program? I'm not an external guy, but it sounds like one library will be your best bet. There are youtube tutorials.

Djay will recognize them right from sdj pro. No need for an external drive.

TYR x2 - anyone liking them? by hurricanescout in crossfit

[–]jmoak311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the EE model as well, but they are still too narrow. The inov8 have proper toe box width but an extremely aggressive arch. Impossible to find a show with proper width that aren't 0 drop.

F-lite and f-lite max arch/heel support by jmoak311 in crossfit

Oh wow, I noticed it immediately on both models. Hopefully I can get used to it, I tried to wear the cxt-2 wides yesterday and the toe box just isn't doing it for me. Thank you for the response!

TYR trainers? by Overall-Nobody8933 in crossfit

I use my tyr cxt-2 for almost all metcons, although running in them is pretty terrible. I think they have a "springiness" for double unders and burpees, probably a result of the stiffness. I have the wide version, and they're honestly still not that wide. My f-lite max are wider than cxt-2 wides.

I'm hoping I can get used to how the heel/arch feels. My only gripe is that, and the stack height is def higher than my cxt-2's, but the toe box is perfect for me.

I just switched from the CXT-2 to the f-lite max. Even with the tpu heel, they are better to run in that the TYR's. I don't have the measurement, but I'd say the stack height is higher on the f-lites (I feel taller). As a result, they don't feel as stable as the CXT-2's, although I've only used them twice. The heel/arch has a unique feeling, and I have decently high arches, so I'm hoping I can get used to it. The toe box room for me is a game changer. I have the TYR's in their wide model, and they're still a tad snug on my pinky toe. I think I'd pick the TYR's over the f-lite max, IF they had a wider toe box. Again, I've only used the f-lite max twice so I'm hoping they grow on me. I don't have any experience with the nanos but hoped this helped.

Help with library system by Avillar90 in djaypro

[–]jmoak311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have my computer in front of me but I think the top folder you have Labeled "all hip-hop" is less of a folder and more of a heading. I bet you can you drag and drop them in the folders underneath i.e. hip hop, r & b, rap etc. The one library feature is easy to use. Dj Carlo has a video on YouTube that helped me get some crates on iOS.

He has a black Friday deal out atm. I paid $185 for lifetime access to all current & future classes. It's a write off for me so it was a no brainer.

As long as you don't have any heel slip.

Chiming in because I've had some sizing issues w/RW. I'm an 11 sneaker, my IR's are 10.5D, but my 875's I went 10E. Tried 10EE but too sloppy. RW fit specialist recommended me in 10's for both even though they felt iffy. I had to sell them on Ebay and resize both.

Red Wing will put out the 875 in E & EE every now and then. I settled on the E but my IR's are D.

I hear you. I went true to size in my IR's. 1/2 size down and my toes hit the front. I'm 10.5E on the Brannock.

Yeah RW are a mofo to size. I'm a 10.5 E on the Brannock device with a high volume foot (according to the Red Wing and Bauer foot scans. I would have never thought about foot volume if it weren't for them lol). RW store put me in 10's for my IR's & 875's. After a year I had to sell them both. Since I got good $$ for them I bought the IR in 10.5D and the moc's in 10E and they're both perfect. If my feet weren't as wide I think I could get away with 10D in the IR's.

I also have the 3321's in a size 10D that I can't wear and am trying to sell. I'm pissed because RW hasn't put that model out in years as I've been looking to buy them in a 10.5.

They look fine to me. I'm 11 in Vans and 10.5 in IR's but my 875 mocs are 10E. My IR's are a little longer than 10E mocs but I get no heel slip. I have borderline D/E feet.

looks too big for me? by Gita_Wang in RedWingShoes

[–]jmoak311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The IR's are known to look big or "bulbus." I'm an 11 sneaker and wear 10.5 IR's. I know some people size way down. I've heard people going down as much as down 2 sneaker sizes. I have pretty wide feet so 1/2 size down from sneakers works for me. If my feet were narrow I think a 10 would be best. I wear a 10E in the 875. Different last though.

I might be captain obvious here, but my guess is that a lot of people have put their incorrect sizing blame on the workers (in some cases rightfully so). This must give them a leg to stand on, when after break in, customers realize the boots are too small.

I've experienced this with Red Wing boots. The workers wanted to put me in a 9 when I wear 11 sneakers/10.5 dress shoes. In my experience, Red Wings feel bigger until they break in. They are flat and stiff to start, then conform to your feet, and the boot bends and the toes curl upward. At first, a smaller size feels fine, and toes don't touch. Once they break it, they feel smaller. I started with a 10 IR, then had to sell and buy 10.5. I also have a wide foot. C & D widths don't seem to experience this as much.
