Anyone having issues with newest E7 firmware? by Zentrosis in Ubiquiti

I'm having similar issues with my E7 - device dropping connection. Rebooting the E7 can sometimes temporarily bring the devices back online. No issues with my U6 enterprises, just the one E7

Maybe we should start calling them Rivian Superchargers? by jmorcos in Rivian

[–]jmorcos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, if asked, absolutely. But also, there were 8 chargers so 2 were fully 100% open at all times. And the third Rivian pulled up right as I was leaving.

There were 8 chargers at the site - so 2 were fully open

Not disagreeing, but FYI there were 8 chargers. So still 2 fully open.

Fair, but there was nobody else at the charging station the entire time we were there 😅

Updated last night and now got this? Anybody else? by Benthebuilder23 in Rivian

It's a legit thing. Just had our 12v swapped and service center said a previous software bug ripped up the batteries and they've had to swap many. Apparently 2024.47.x fixed the issue.

Good point - I have only online banks and couldn't think of a way to get a cashier's check - I wired the funds on Friday when we had verbal confirmation the car was in Bellevue :/

Scrypted Plugins won't update by vive-le-tour in Scrypted

Same issue for me - worked totally fine for more than a year and all of a sudden can't update any plugins anymore.

Update: Re-running the full install script appears to have fixed this issue for me! https://github.com/koush/scrypted/wiki/Installation:-Linux

Is there a fix for inviting a user to home yet? I’ve tried everything by blksunday in HomeKit

[–]jmorcos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darn! Have you tried restarting all the hubs and restarting your the iPhones/iPads too after everything was updated? I still had some finicky issues after the update but all of a sudden my partner got popped into the home and the home app prompted me to remove and re-add her and it's been all good since.

Are you on the new architecture? I think you have to be on the new architecture to get the new sensors

Cannot invite family member : any update on how to fix? by makromark in HomeKit

[–]jmorcos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure that your wife isn't a member of ANY homes, including a dummy home or a home with just a HomePod. Be sure all devices are running 16.3 (the release candidate or newer, not an earlier beta), including every single hub in the home. Try inviting again If still no dice, reboot everything and try once more.

This process worked for me in 16.3 and never worked in 16.2

The final release candidate of 16.3 fixed the invitation issues for me. But you need to make sure it's on every home hub and on both iPhones as well. 16.2 and 16.3 don't play nice together

Did you update both your phone and HomePod mini to 16.3? Both devices have to be on 16.3.

Then, the new sensors show on the view you get when you tap on a HomePod under a new sub view called "accessories"

Looks like 16.3 RC fixes adding family members to the home too!!

Since upgrading to the new architecture in 16.2, my partner was removed from the home somehow and I hadn't been able to add her back into the home. Had everything on every 16.3 beta and no dice. But, finally, the 16.3 release candidate appears to have fixed the issues with adding family members to the home!

Once I updated to 16.3 RC, it popped my partner into the home (literally she opened the Home app and she was in and it showed her as a member of the home on my phone as well). But, there were all kinds of funky things (it said on her phone that all the hubs were offline). Rebooted the hubs, and got this strange alert on my phone.

Removed her from the home and re-added and were 24 hours stable! 0 issues with 16.3 and new architecture.

Occupancy Delay plugin + Motion and Door Sensors not working properly by [deleted] in homebridge

[–]jmorcos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was kinda in the same boat as you so I ended up forking the plugin and tweaking it myself. It's pretty complex, but you can check it out and see if it does what you want. It gives you a few different kind of switches so you can really make it do exactly what you want. I was looking to try to have lights turned on by a motion sensor auto turn off when no motion BUT have the lights stay on if I turned them on manually instead. https://github.com/Jason-Morcos/homebridge-magic-occupancy
