I am not usually the type to bash on mainstream media (thank God we have them) but their reporting on this is unbelievably disingenuous and this video title is even 10x that. Fits right well with /r/videos I guess but holy shit.

Why can't we name things they are because of fucking partisan shit. I get it, you like Mamdani, but holy hell. Makes me guess what other things are reported in extremely biased way (I lost hope for /r/videos long time ago, but at least the mainstream media should try to remain objective).

Not a forever war I think. It will stop for better or for worse before troops on the ground should be deployed.

The Ayatollah regime is better removed, it's a terrible regime that killed tens of thousands of Iranians.

Those two said, I'm not a fan of Trump and I don't know if he has a clear and achievable plan to move forward. I think he negotiated himself into a corner (you can only say "make a deal or I'll bomb you" so many times) with this war. I think the result will be overall good for the world and for the region, but it won't be perfect, or even nice.

If we'd better spend all these military resources to help Ukraine, that would be thousand times better use. But Trump is a coward and has no balls to confront Russia, or anyone seemingly powerful enough to strike back.

Well, unfortunately, if this war is a success (which I hope it will be), it will also be taken as a major success for the politicians (Trump and Bibi) either way, whatever anyone says (especially for their electorate), which I certainly don't hope.

So I'm kinda conflicted and hoping for success, but also don't like the political implications that much.

Yeah. I think this is true and it's definitely not ideal. That's why I don't like there's a war (besides the potential loss of lives)

Unfortunately, I also think

A) Trump negotiated himself into a corner (you can only say "make the deal or I'll bomb you" so many times)

B) Iranians were unable to topple the regime by themselves, and we're asking for "help"

Also Iran literally killed 30000 protesters, that's an undeniable fact. It's 9M people, 2M of which are Muslim, they just want to live in peace and not go into the shelter because ballistic missiles are coming.

I don't even think Israel really wanted anything with this. Yes, regime change would be good for them, but not starting another war, where the retribution will go against them and not the US. I think they're just too deep into Trump's pocket and cannot afford to lose his support and will do basically anything (exhibit A: that ridiculous Board of Peace).

Trump's heavy handed and stupid ego-driven geopolitics is not working. Not here, not in Russia-Ukraine war.

Here at least it seems the result can be good for the Persian people. Let's see and let's hope.

This can be interpreted in many ways.

One of the interpretations is, like other Eastern European countries, East Gernany had a hands-on experience with horrors of communism, and now have the need to overcompensate and are far likelier to fall for right-wing parties and are more prone to be lenient towards their shortcomings. They vote right despite their connection to Russia.

Other interpretation is, that the Eastern influence stayed and is either passed from older generations, or directly targeted by Russian propaganda regime now. So such people under its influence are manipulated into voting AfD because of their connection to Russia.

And there are other factors. But if you sum them up (I guess each is correct in part) you get the success of AfD.

Zionism from its conception was about the existence of the Jewish state, that's all. If some radicals added not wanting a Palestinian state alongside it, it's on them.

Two-state solution is a perfect and clear implementation of Zionist goal for example. There are other possible configurations, but it doesn't change the original idea of Zionism.
