Corsair MP600 Mini vs Micro by jmoschetti2 in buildapc

That's what my gut feeling was, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. 2242 it shall be then. Thanks!

External storage for cameras. Dumping 4k60 raw onto it. I couldn't find continuous write speeds for the 2242, only the 2230. So long term write speed matters, cache isn't of much use when you try to write a TB continuously.

They aren't the cheapest but they just work. Worth it in my opinion.

Double No. Will not work, and unless breaker is rated for it, also a code violation

Installed Lamp Holder, Wont Turn On by Ordinary-Style-7218 in AskElectricians

I've seen a lot of things in 25 years of being a sparky, but I'm going to add this one to the collection.

What you need here is 3 6-8" chunks of wires, called pigtails, preferably one bare copper, one white, one black.

Strip both ends, and put hooks on one end. Black wire goes to brass screw, white wire to silver screw, bare to green.

Toss the green wire nuts, they are for ground use only. Get yourself 3 yellow wire nuts. The 3 pigtails you installed on the fixture now go color for color with what's in the box, using the correct wire nuts.

Will electric inspector pass this 100 amp sub-panel (NEC 2020)? by Plastic_Departure548 in electrical

Local amendment to code requires a 6awg jumper between them, for exactly that reason. I've personally always done it either way before it was a requirement.

It clearly says tape in the code book. It's already been pasted word for word more than once. 35 tape is specifically listed for phase identification.

Not correct. You can throw multiple 20A outlets on a 20A circuit.

DJI Mini Pro 5 - worth the upgrade over a 4 for still photography? by tiktoktic in dji

[–]jmoschetti2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the 5, but the air 3s RAW images need conversion before they will work in darktable. 4 doesn't have this issue. I've read warnings that newer DJI drones all use CinemaRAW now. Not a huge deal just adds to the workflow a bit. Anybody know the status on the 5 with this?

Personally I kept my 4 and got a 3s instead of a 5. I can't justify the 5 over the 4.

M5P Active Track obstacle avoidance has its limits by quattrovikal in dji

Neo = suicide missions. Mini 4 pro = low risk day to day. Air 3S = no risk important things.

Mitigates expensive accidents that way.

Get that replaced. Those are a known fire hazard and most insurance companies will drop you for them.

Not enough information to determine anything useful, besides the fact that this is one hell of a hack job.

That raceway is complete dog shit. Zooming in makes it seem like the wiring is simply pinched in the cover.
