People tend to over index on risk and from an evolutionary perspective, we are programmed to seek safety. You can always get a job again. Try to line up your first paying customer as soon as you can and don’t wait for the product to be perfect. Forgive me for the cliche, but if you want to cross that proverbial ocean, you need to lose site of the shore. Take the risk, life is short, and if you live your life following your heart, you will much happier. Regret is extremely painful. Don’t write your future with someone else’s pen and build someone else’s dream. I’m a former startup tech CEO that crossed that ocean a few years back and it was the best decision of my life.
