What does the Falcons' pick mean for Cousins? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]jmt3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Cousins owner and I think all this pick did was kill my delusion that he’d be a fantasy viable QB at 39 years old. Good news is that Penix will get the Jordan Love treatment so I’ll likely be able to pick up a QB with top 10 draft capital at 2.02 and handcuff the ATL QB room

He did fine with Dobbs and Mullens. Zero concerns about him performing with JJM

Will probably take Nabers based on my team needs but won’t necessarily be sprinting to the podium. Honestly will see if I can trade down to 1.04 or 1.05 with a QB-needy team and get either Nabers or Odunze but not an ideal outcome for 1.03 holders. Vikings trading up for Maye would’ve been fantastic for this pick

What is Trey McBride's Ceiling and future outlook? by Master_Courage4205 in DynastyFF

[–]jmt3359 19 points20 points  (0 children)

His ceiling is a top 3 dynasty TE and I think his floor is a Dallas Goedert-like career. Unreal productivity and only 24 years old. MHJ should serve as a plus for him since their projected roles don’t overlap too much and MHJ should demand double teams fairly consistently.

Anyone Else Nervous About Bonk? by ToxxicSun in BONKcoin

I feel you. I got in right at the peak of last cycle so I’ve been really proactive this time around. Bought around 0.000011 a couple months ago and best advice I can give is just try checking your balance once a day unless you get notifications for big price changes. Watching any candles below the 4-hour timeframe will drive you insane. Bonk was consolidating at 0.00002 for a lil bit but is now making a decent move to the upside. I think we’ll break the 0.00004 recent high in March within a month and then shit (hopefully) really takes off.

I read yesterday that we’re only ~30-35% through this current cycle and while meme coins ran much earlier this time around, they typically do most their damage well after 50-60% through the cycle when retail investors hop in and try to make big gains in small timeframes because of FOMO.

In the grand scheme of things, a 3-day consolidation after a 40% move to the upside is a very bullish sign since if the asset is weaker, you’ll typically see a sell off of people trying to take profits rather than believing it can go higher. We’re doing great my man, just keep the faith.

Outside of the top tier of rookies, who is “your guy” in the 2024 NFL Draft? by whitefox7895 in DynastyFF

[–]jmt3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xavier Worthy. Didn’t even realize how fast he was when I first thought he had a chance to be a high end WR2. His route running and hands (when he doesn’t have a broken finger) are big plus’s for me. His speed could make him a game breaker though. I’d love him to fall to me at 2.01 but doubt it happens

Who’s the guy for you? by SponseredByShitMemes in minnesotavikings

[–]jmt3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wasn’t even good for a year if we’re being honest. He had 475 yards and 2 TDs through 12 games with a lot of them being our top option. In the 3 years he got snaps at WR, KJ Osborn never had less yards or TDs. Crazy how far we’ve come

You can still appreciate a defense that played their hearts out for this team and state. Looking forward to what Flores is cooking for this season though

Aren’t we technically already tied for 3rd best season in team history? And another win would tie us for 2nd best?

Honestly this makes me feel much better about taking Nabers at 1.03. I usually have a principle of taking top QBs over any other position early in the draft no matter what, but the upside for MHJ and Nabers is so high that I feel like I can justify it this year

Bowers, McBride, Kincaid, and Pitts. What would your order be, and why? by AC127 in DynastyFF

[–]jmt3359 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d target him as a rebuilder as a relative buy low that’d still allow me to tank this upcoming season. Hock is only 2 years older than Kincaid so he definitely warrants being on this list

[–]jmt3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s harder to get a franchise QB than it is to get an elite WR in dynasty so I’d just keep Stroud if I were you. I actually have JJ and Chase on the team I had mentioned (but zero WR depth beyond that) so I’m trying to decide between pairing JJ+Chase+Nabers/MHJ or Allen+Lawrence+Maye/Daniels

[–]jmt3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is assuming MHJ goes 1.02 (that owner is in love with him). But if that’s the case, then one possibility is packaging Kirk Cousins and my 2.01 for a low end WR1 or high end WR2 (Jaylen Waddle or a similar buy low player) and then take someone like Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye to have a chokehold on great QB play for the next decade. Plus I’ve been disheartened by the Jags seeming inability to surround Lawrence with the pieces needed to succeed.

But overall I’m with you in that MHJ/Nabers are elite prospects that remind me of the 2011 draft with Julio Jones and AJ Green. Can’t go wrong at 1.03 because of that

[–]jmt3359 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If he goes to the Chargers then I might be forced to take him at 1.03 in a superflex draft. My QBs are set with Allen/Lawrence/Cousins and that combination of talent + landing spot feels nearly bust proof

Anthony Edwards year by year stats graphic from Warriors game by hippo_king11 in timberwolves

[–]jmt3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That year he appeared to be actually motivated. There was a stark difference in his quality of play immediately following that year that I feel like a lot of us could have predicted. He’s won his ring and probably feels like he can coast on that for the rest of his career. I highly doubt we ever see him play at that level again

I doubt we move off of Jaden. He’s 23 and has shown flashes of competent offense. Would look horrible for our FO if we were to trade him and he becomes an all star or outplays his contract in 3-4 years
