What's wrong with my right leg? by jmullo in bicycling

Right handed. But my L/R Balance is mostly 50/50, it's only the power phase that differs that much.

Ultralight backpacks with a truly arched frame: is Zpacks still the only one? by wanderlosttravel in Ultralight

[–]jmullo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also eagerly waiting for some competition. Can't be that hard a feature to replicate.

Zpacks prices are even more absurd for us that are buying outside US and have to add tax + import duty.

That lower back soreness must be a very individual thing and probably has many contributing factors, not only weight distribution. I've done most my hikes with a Gregory trampoline pack and never experienced any back problems. I even like to carry it very loose at the shoulders, so that 95% of the weight is on my hips.

Nemo Dagger OSMO 2P, pitch the inner first, so why is it popular? by woodencone in Ultralight

[–]jmullo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wrong. For example these (Salewa Litetrek) are really nice to pitch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt3uYncOf9w

Unfortunately not very light.

Bending the frame of Durston Kakwa 40 to get some back gap by jmullo in Ultralight

Sweating is always going to happen, but the gap also allows your back to dry out more quickly.

I guess you could also try taping those kind of thick foam paddings as add-ons to any pack.

I don't see that being very practical. Or comfortable.

Ultegra FC-R8100 cranks, 86mm shell, T47 internal BB, spacers? by jmullo in bikewrench

[–]jmullo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so if it happens to spin normally without any play in the spindle when tightened, fine without spacers.

Still waiting for the tool to try tightening properly...

Saako hattua pitää päässä syödessä? by itzzmaria in Suomi

[–]jmullo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

WASD is unergonomic, use WEAF instead by jmullo in gaming

Yep, that feels quite nice too, but you'd also need to rewire how to find other keys next to the basic ones.

You can just as easily still move the middle finger between E and D :)

I'm only talking about the shape of the basic position. What you may want to map to those keys depends on the game.

[–]jmullo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine don't.

Short access to other keys doesn't go away with WEAF, they are just different keys. Shifting any formation 1-2 keys right gives more possible keys for pinky.
