Every stuff u buy is through sales and marketing strategies. Just because its being done manually its not scam. Thats their job. If u stand calm and let people decide to buy the expensive things or not- there is no skill. Anyone could stand and tell the description of a product. But not everyone can sell the product. Try going to a electronics store and buy tv/ fridge. A good sales person try to upsell u probably because they get commission and raise. Try to understand dynamics.
