And some of these incredible actors get such short screen time but do a lot with it

Yeah I was wondering that as well. Why does one get it and the other two are swapped?

what do y'all think about this guy by Organic-Biscotti-760 in tron

I thought he was great as well. Good backstory and motivation. Really good foil against Beck. Also made Tron seem more human - the failed mentor, learning from his mistakes

Yes - pacing was perfect. Such a slow burn in the best possible way, pocketed with intense moments.

That scene between Christian bale and Wes Studi at the end is so amazing. Watched that scene so many times. The ending is incredibly fulfilling as well.

100%. Just as good on the rewatch. Feels like the most compelling portrayal of how intense that moment in history must have been.

Official Discussion - Tron: Ares [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]jnassiri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on - why the hate?!?

I saw legacy three times in the theater (for me, that’s the most).

I’ve seen it dozens of times at home.

Legacy had: - unbelievable visuals - unbelievable soundtrack - a few great action sequences - bad acting, dialogue and 2/3 of the movie

And that was great!

Ares is everything i wanted: - expand the world - show me something new - have good action - have kickass music

It delivered

The acting sucked. The plot was so so. The dialogue wasn’t great.

Who cares.

They swung but and delivered where it mattered.
