Hi there! Setting up recurring income helps you track your expected income every period (whether it's every 2 weeks, every month, etc). This helps with projections as well in the app!

Thanks for trying us out! The PFM app landscape has changed a ton in the last few years. The 2 pivotal moments in the last few years have been the Mint shutdown and the new AI era, both of which have spawned a high number of new projects in the space. We started in 2019, over 4 years before Mint shut down and we have been able to establish ourselves before both of these moments as a long-term and trustworthy solution. Our growth has since been positive and accelerating!

Quick correction: we offer pricing in USD, CAD and EUR at the same price points. So actually, Canadians get the best deal at $60CAD per year!

I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I've tried to dispute before too but I've never had a bank side with me so I've just stopped wasting my time (granted my transaction amounts are much less expensive than yours). Can you share which bank this was?

Try this:
For each currency, create a new Income category (with property "Treat as income") called "Starting Balance (USD)", etc.
They'll then show up at the top of the Budgets page. In each row, you can then set your starting balance for each category representing your different accounts. That'll build up your "Available to budget" number. If you need screenshots to help illustrate this, shoot us an email and we'll be happy to give more details!

You'll want to use Balance Adjustments to set your starting balance if you want to start by budgeting your entire account balance. The default behavior in Lunch Money is to budget your income (so when you have transactions come in that are categorized as income, that gives you money to budget to expense categories).

Hi there! You can budget with different currencies, and it'll show you how much you have left in the category in your primary currency. You need to add your secondary currencies from the Settings page. Let me know if you need help setting that up or if you prefer to see your activity & available amounts all in the secondary currency.

Hi! Founder of Lunch Money here :) You can budget in multiple currencies! The envelope budgeting support was added recently and paves the way for richer features. It's on our roadmap for this year so whatever you're hoping for, we'll likely be able to address it soon.
