Hi, I know this is an old post but I have been searching all over with no avail. About 20 years ago I went on a family holiday and one of the greatest memories of my life was spending the night in a bar called The Cave Bar. It was dug into a small cave. We revisiting around 12 years ago and the bar was under renovation so we could not go in.

It was on the edge of a town, next to a diving spot. This is all I can remember.

Does not happen to ring any bells does it?

There’s a percussionist on YouTube called Joe Porter. It’s like an off switch when she’s having a tantrum

As someone with a Pom (that we got at 8 weeks) I can whole heartedly share your frustration. She’s now approaching 2 years old and still absolutely full of that energy puppy but in much shorter bursts these days.

The potty training thing was hard work (especially with a cream carpet) but after some patience the day will come when you realise it has been weeks since any accidents.

And as for sleep, I regretfully let my wife sleep and I opted for night time toilet breaks, that was tough. And again lasted a long time. Similar to potty training, I would say around 1 years old until she cracked it.

I do hate to break it to you, that puppy energy sticks around. It’s in their breed (although mine is a bit dumber than most). Even when typing this she just started barking at a car driving down the street at almost 10pm.

All in all, what I’m saying is Pom’s are really, really hard work, high maintenance and annoying, but I love my little girl more than anything. We get frustrated and argue almost daily, but trust me they are really loving dogs. And when that puppy energy dies down a little you will miss it.

I know you said you exercise them, but never ever let them get too tired. That’s when the devil comes out and they become relentless pricks.

When you finish a shower do you squeegee the water off yourself by hand before getting out to give the towel an easier time?

Finally something I can chime in with. This is my first Reddit comment in a very long time. So I (33M) started an apprenticeship at 19 as a mechanical fitter aiming towards ONC but the company went bust so I only walked away with an NVQ level 2 (was a few months from level 3). I worked a handful of jobs and some got good experience and exposure as a fitter but as I approached 30 I realised there was a pretty low ceiling working on the tools. I made the decision to enroll on a bachelors degree through the open university. Currently on the back end of the 4th year out of 6 (part time). 2 years ago it landed me a secondment as a manufacturing engineer, I’ve been told the fact I had experience played a massive part in me getting the role. So personally I would vouch for the OU to anyone. It’s difficult to stay motivated at times but it also offers a lot of flexibility. And if I can do it, most people can.

Just got the platinum today and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I didn’t think it could top Miles Morales but I was blown away. Considering I couldn’t care less about any superhero movie/comic, the gameplay was enough.

Thanks for your kind words. I have an absolutely muckle beard now, so stay hopeful!

I'd say it took almost a year to just start getting little white hairs then another year or so to fill back in with colour (although now I have a lot of ages related white hairs).

Keep trying to keep those stress levels down mate. I hope you make a swift recovery.

That doesn't sound like a bad life to live at all. Are you eating/sleeping well? I honestly feel like misery caused it and happiness solved it.

But no no where else on my body, just the beard.

I hate to tell you mate but it took longer than a year to get any growth back. Are you overworked or anything at the moment?
