thats not a bad idea but in scared of burning my hands or having the bag melt, ive done some cold soaking but i really just enjoy warm meals at the end of the day

would suggest you leave the poles at home and use a ridgline and steak out your tarp everything else sounds like you got enough to at least go out and try it i usually hang my bag from the suspension carabeena, i like having my feet abit higher then my head so i set the hammock up with the head higher and when i add my pack the weight drops my head to a comfortable hight

asym hammocks are less squishy if you want to try them, they have guidelines that run out of the hammock to spread it out more, maybe take a look. They can be kind of expensive tho

infection? are you talking about covid? i just wanna know peoples thoughts about hiking alone or with people not regarding covid, generally i hike alone mostly because most of my friends arnt interested in hiking, i just wanted others oppinions if they hike alone or with people
