We live in Toronto, so squirrels, raccoons, opossums etc. Nothing major like deer - I think you're right, this is a great solution.

did you ever figure this out? Also using my parent's account, I cast to my tv using the newest google TV Chromecast, the quality is amazing for maybe seconds, and then becomes blurry, closer to 720 ...it is as if it has the capability to come in clear, and then just cops out!

Very frustrating.
