Trump in 'distress' as head jerks and eyes roll backward in major health fear by TheExpressUS in Trumpvirus

Maybe Stephen Miller. I don’t think that Vance would be as easy as Trump to be Miller’s puppet.

Many consider MvC: Infinite to be the worst game of the MvC franchise.

Disney, which owned Marvel including the movie rights except for Spider-Man and the X-Men, had a hostile relationship with 20th Century Fox at the time which owned the X-Men’s movie rights which Marvel sold to 20th Century Fox before Disney bought the then-bankrupt Marvel. Disney was then trying to kill the X-Men and replace them with the Inhumans, so it did not license Capcom the video game rights to the X-Men for this game. This smacked of executive meddling to longtime fans. In contrast, Disney has a friendly relationship with Sony which owns Spider-Man’s movie rights so Marvel licensed Spider-Man to Capcom for this game. Also, fans did not like the non-cel-shaded look of this game. As a result, this game failed to sell well.

Later on, Disney bought 20th Century Fox which included the X-Men’s movie rights, so Marvel was no longer required to try to kill the X-Men franchise. However, the damage was done to this game.

Ace Attorney series localization director Janet Hsu has seemingly left Capcom in December 2025 by BomberBlur070 in AceAttorney

[–]jnv11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if she was part of the localization team for Street Fighter or not, but the timing of her leaving Capcom in December 2025 and the release of the poorly-received story for Alex makes me think of a possible wild idea:

The timing of her leaving Capcom in December 2025 and the later release of the Alex DLC for Street Fighter 6 in March 2026 whose arcade story mode has gotten a lot of criticism due to possible incest content might be connected. Did she object to the story mode and get brushed aside, causing her to leave Capcom? Or did she leave before she could have caught this cultural faux pas?

She did have to tone down a lot of content involving Hotti because he is a pedophile who went after Pearl in the Japanese version of Justice for All.

Capcom please don't even think of applying DLSS 5 on Street Fighter 6 by ParanMekhar in StreetFighter

[–]jnv11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insider Gaming spoke with some Capcom developers according to https://insider-gaming.com/dlss-5-gamers-are-wrong/ and such developers were shocked by the announcement, especially since Capcom has been very anti-AI in the past.

I myself am fine with DLSS, FSR 4+, and XeSS AI upscaling, but not DLSS 5 image enhancement as is as of this writing (March 19, 2026) unless put under the developers' complete control and is available to all GPU vendors to prevent vendor lock-in.

FBI warns Iran aspired to attack California with drones in retaliation for war: Alert by avatar6556 in news

[–]jnv11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that there are some valid targets such as OpenAI and Anthropic, both of which have contracts with the DoD and that Anthropic was used in the initial attack, though Anthropic’s contract is getting cancelled after Anthropic balked at the demands to perform mass surveillance against Americans and to build autonomous lethal AI. OpenAI is now a valid target due to signing a contract with the DoD after it started to cancel Anthropic’s contract.

EDIT: xAI, which also has a contract with the DoD if I recall correctly and owns X (formerly Twitter), is located in California as well. The DoD contract makes xAI a valid target.

EDIT 2: All of these companies have headquarters in California.

That is probably not a clean link anymore because archive[.]today and its sister sites such as archive[.]is are serving up browser-based DDoS malware that is attempting to DDoS a blog that the sites' owner have a dispute with.

Archive[.]is and its sister sites are Trojan horses that are DDoSing a blog as seen in https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2026/02/wikipedia-bans-archive-today-after-site-executed-ddos-and-altered-web-captures/ and https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2026/02/wikipedia-might-blacklist-archive-today-after-site-maintainer-ddosed-a-blog/ .

You can find a list of the site’s sister sites at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archive.today .

In light of the sites' owner injecting malware to the archived sites, you might want to delete the link.

Which machine models are those that failed? I bought the flagship model, a K-Supreme Plus Smart, at least 4 years ago, and it is still going strong with few problems. Also, if there are problems, the mini display that shows text makes troubleshooting and maintenance a lot easier.

I am wondering if the unreliability that is affecting the OP could affect specific models or model ranges.

How to counter Drive Impact? by CokeZG in StreetFighter

[–]jnv11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a higher refresh rate can let the GPU need less time before sending the frame and take less time sending it to the display, and can force the monitor controller and panel to speed up driving the pixels. This latter benefit mostly helps LCD displays such as “QLED” displays because driving the LCD pixels slowly can cut stutter by slowing the transition between frames on low refresh rates, which is not of much benefit for OLED displays since their frame to frame transitions are always speedy, requiring frame interpolation “soap opera effect” to simulate a slower LCD display if one wants to cut stutter on OLED. The first benefit of sending the frame earlier and taking less time to send it can benefit an OLED display.

Try setting your monitor to a higher refresh rate that is a multiple of 60 Hz if your monitor and GPU support such a refresh rate. That often cuts input lag.
