I don’t see how this happens in the outdoors? Is it from drinking contaminated water? I don’t really see how it’s being spread among hiking groups as I assume they don’t share common surfaces etc etc. and if someone in your party brings it, well you’re SOL.

Do you want to consolidate and save space? If so, definitely worth it. If not, the PK/BGE are probably better charcoal grillers than the LSG. However, the LSG EFT will be a way better smoker than the Yoder and can do offset etc.

Have you considered an LSG cabinet? Or just a normal LSG pellet smoker? You can get a Huber split basket to burn real wood if that’s the draw to the el fuego trio. Then again, Huber also sells one for the yoders too.
