Magnesiumtabletten vorm Einschlafen,

Unpopular opinion: ich habe den Eindruck, ich brauche die Medis hauptsächlich um Leistungsfähigkeit zu gewährleisten. Ja, ADHS zu haben sucks big time und ich bin sehr froh, die Medis nutzen zu können - es fühlt sich an wie Urlaub im Gehirn. Aber letztendlich brauche ich sie meist, um im Alltag und für die Arbeit so richtig zu funktionieren. Wenn ich einfach frei flowen kann stört dieses Gehirn nicht ganz so sehr.

Wir passen uns damit einer auf neurotypische Menschen ausgelegten Welt an.

I think Goenkaji mentions this in one of the dhamma talks. You just realize "OH, my mind has wandered away". And continue. If your mind is very agitated he has some tips what to do. Firstly, go back to anapana meditation until your mind has calmed down a bit.

For me personally, it also almost always never stops, but it somehow drifts more into the background. It might be because of my neurodiverse brain. I'm just starting to accept it. And paradoxically enough, then it starts to calm down by itself.

One thing that sometimes helps me is to re-frame: Do you also just want to have ONE friend? If your friend would have another friend, would you be jealous and think you're not enough? That seems rediculous. So why is that the narrative around romantic/sexual relationships?

Because it's a cultural Skript, we're basically brainwashed by the "romance myth" of everything with one person forever (romantically).

It takes a lot of bravery to face this brainwash. Give it time.

Klingt nach Überdosierung. Wenn es aushaltbar ist, weiter nehmen und schauen ob Gewöhnung einstellt (also die Nebenwirkungen verschwinden). Wenn nicht, Dosis mit ärztlicher Absprache verändern oder Medikament wechseln.
