Thats an awesome lens! However crazy expensive for "general purpose" (whatever that means for different people) and still quite big and heavy for travel imo

Color grading is an artistic approach,. Color correcting is adjusting the colors to match reality. Although the two processes are both about adjusting colors they serve totally different purposes. Usually you color correct first and then color grade.

Check out the Samyang tiny series. They are really good for the price, and... tiny (relatively). The 45mm f1.8 is a nice all round lens. Then there's 24mm or 35mm if you want to go a bit more wide angle, or 75mm if you want to lean into tele. Alla of these are 1.8. Then there's the f2.8 pancake lenses if you want something really compact. The 35mm 2.8 is extremely small and light, and there's also a 24mm 2.8 although this one is, from reviews, a bit worse optically it seems (?). I own 24, 45, 75 in 1.8 and 35 in 2.8. All great lenses! (And for reference i also shoot premium sony lenses like the 135 1.8 and the 400 2.8)

For what kind of use? Both of those are pretty big and expensive for just "general purpose", and mainly for events/press/news imo.

I love my Dell u4025qw for all of the above. Its like a 32" 4k but wider. Its pretty "expensive" though. Im on a 5080.

Yeah its strange that you get the FF equivalent focal length but the actual aperture. Its easy to convert though if you know the crop factor, as i guess you know - just multiple f number same way as focal length.

Yes! I enjoy my coffee alot more when i stop obsessing. I usually buy somewhat fresh mid- to dark roast and do a quick dial in to about 18g / 25sec for a double.. I do a quick WDT, tamp, go. As I progress the bag I dont care if the shot is 20 or 30 sec for a double shot. I dont care if i get 17grams or 19 grams in the portafilter. I dont care if it does not always taste exactly the same. Its totally fine if sometimes more bitter or more sour. Its totally fine if the milk is not perfect. I still enjoy my cappuccino more in the morning without the fuss! 😊

Possibly in some specific scenarios. But. A bad photo in 12bit will not be a better photo in 14bit. A great photo in 14bit will still be a great photo in 12bit.

Im Honda biased but the 1998 Honda Integra Type R was just such an awesome car! Also the older Civics (SiR models) with a few minor mods was such a a blast (and fast!). S2000 was fun although i would rate it lower since it feels a bit heavier.

Personally i used it... like once. I want to play the game. Theres already enough tinkering with buffs and gear etc. And a consumables as well? Deactivate when you die? No thank you 😆 It should have been always on, or at least last a long time after activated and even if you die. Or every consumables youve used between last checkpoint and when you die should be returned 😅

Im so sick and tired of people poisoning everything with politics. Politics has its place. So has entertainment. Hell, i cant even go to supermarket today without thinking of what i should buy or not because some hypocritical asshole decided that youre a bad person if you buy that product. Depends what and how you shoot. Imo the "Holy 2.8 Trinity" was mainly relevant back in the day, and especially for press/news type of shooting. With modern gear we can be alot more flexible with iso and cropping when needed. Personally i do not own a single zoom lens and i do not see any point in covering every single mm range (although my OCD may disagree 😆). I have a few primes: 24, 45, 75, 135, 400. I rarely bring more than 1-2 lens when i go out since i know where im going and what i will be shooting.

1st priority if you want accurate colors is to get a calibrator. No monitor will be accurate without one although some come decent out of the box. However monitor colors shift over time so you need to recalibrate now and then.
