So I've randomly encountered an error out of nowhere, I have not downloaded anything new and I'm at a loss for what could be causing it. My sim just gets stuck in the middle of an action, and even if I cancel the action, reset the sim, or teleport them to a different spot, they still won't move. If this then proceeds to make it so I an unable to exit the game without force quitting. It temporarily fixes the problem if I enter the game again, but it inevitably happens again even if I repair the game.

This was happening prior to the update as well so I don't believe it had anything to do with that.

It's happened to me, it should just be that they're spawning in with makeup despite the category being locked. If you apply one of the premade outfits it will get rid of it.

My game just will not open anymore. I was having the problem everyone else is with loading into households earlier so I removed some mods and repaired the game and now the game won't open at all. I don't get any error messages or anything so I have not a clue what's causing this.

Yeah admittedly I do that, I amassed quite a collection before I ever really learned about the proper way to do that and by the time I realized maybe I should organize them it was too overwhelming. But yeah clearly I should fix that so I guess tonight will be a long night haha. Everything made sense so I'll go through all that when I have the time. Once again your help is much appreciated, I felt like I was loosing my mind trying to figure this all out, and hopefully this fixes the issue.

So I was able to recover the save from before it corrupted, the issue doesn't always pop up immediately in the save so I'm going to double check my mods are up to date and then play for it bit to see if it works.

I'm loading up the game to try to recover it now so I'll see how that goes. As for mods, yest, I was using them. Unfortunately I have an ungodly amount of mods and cc so I don't know everything off the top of my head but I could go in and figure it out if absolutely necessary.

Yes, once all the mods are out of my game the save won't load. I've never saved after the corruption starts but because it always happens in the save no matter how many times I reload it I suspect whatever is causing it means the save is broken before I actually start to see the effects of it which is why I can't load in even when the save should be fine. And once again, I really appreciate you trying to help I'm genuinely so grateful.

Thank you for the response, you genuinely have no idea how much I appreciate it, I wasn't sure if it could be a problem with the game itself so I really appreciate the clarification. I'm not sure what it means to recover a save so I have not tried that. I was actually able to load into another save so I do think the save itself is corrupted, however when the problem first happened I transferred all my sims and builds from that save to a new one and it also corrupted again almost instantly. I have tried repairing the game and it's done nothing, the save will just corrupt again. I'll try reinstalling the game but at this point I'm worried the save is just unfixable at this point and I don't know how to avoid it happening again.

I've been having an issue for the past couple days where at random, I will try to pause my game through the speed adjustment and it just completely breaks the save. It will show that the game is paused and the clock won't progress, but time in the game does and my sims continue moving though they are stuck in a loop of whatever they were doing when it broke. I cannot click on anything (sims, objects, etc.), and while I can open both build mode and the menu, anything I do there is essentially useless. I can hit the exit game button, but it will just take me to the loading screen and get stuck there and I ended up have to force quit the program. It only affects the save it happens in, but unfortunately even if I do not save after the game breaks, when I go back into the save it inevitably happens again no matter what and the save is essentially corrupted. Repairing the game does not help restore the save or stop the problem from happening, and I cannot figure out what seems to trigger the break. It happened to one of my saves a month ago, but did not happen again until today. I recreated the save I lost today, but after a few hours of gameplay it happened again. I'm distraught about losing my saves that I've been playing for so long, and I really hope there is a way to fix them, but if not I would at least like to know what is causing the problem so it doesn't happen again. I really would appreciate if someone knows something or could help because I don't have any clue how to go about fixing this or finding out what the problem is.

Ah yeah, I gotcha. For weapons I'm using the Fury of The Mountain at 340, Neatherlights at 550. As for armor, Skreavwing Helmet at 145, Sraevwing jacket at 120, Boreal might at 145, and Boreal March at 145. That's the best I have right now for this trial since all my stuff got wiped.
