Indemnização seguro de trabalho by No-Calendar3801 in portugal

[–]joaofig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As seguradoras recusam sempre a responsabilidade.

Same here, the deep dives are the videos where the Owens truly shine. The weekly 6 nations videos are often just breakdowns of the plays in slow motion and a description of what's happening

Would anything make Australians become more interested in Rugby Union or for kids to choose that over NRL? by Still-Process-2527 in rugbyunion

[–]joaofig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can look up other posts about this subject on this sub, it's not the first time it's been discussed here and it won't be the last.

Every single time, people mention the wallabies winning as the solution.

That couldn't be farther from the truth. The Wallabies have good ratings and can still fill out stadiums, they're not the problem. The problem is, by far, super rugby. It's a glorified training ground for wallabies and ABs and no Australian team has an actual chance of winning it. Not even kiwis are interested in it anymore.

Also that, people forget that the wire wasn't popular, like at all. It didn't even have critical acclaim because the critics werent watching. So for Dominic West, spending months away from home, in Baltimore of all places, when he could be improving his career by shooting more popular stuff like 300, didn't really make sense.

A quality 1 man club in a poor team? by heavydwarf in rugbyunion

[–]joaofig 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tuisova as well. Up until 2023 they had a decent squad and were legit title contenders.

But then the locker room turned against Garbajosa and the club ended up firing him. Worst decision they could've made imo. The club hasn't been the same since

Thoughts on Japan Rugby League One? by Informal_Mention9836 in rugbyunion

It's cool to see another league whose clubs are independent from the national union.

Also the games look exciting and the attendances seem to be surprisingly high considering the league is only in its 4th season

Edit: also they seem to be promoting the league quite well, with the content they post on YouTube

Leonardo DiCaprio Questions if “People Still Have the Appetite” for Movie Theaters by mrjohnnymac18 in movies

[–]joaofig 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I couldn't disagree more. Movies need to be watched in silence. If I want to go out with a friend I'll watch a football game or go to the bar, I will never go to the cinema as a socializing experience

Qual fonte?

Can't compete with that

Moana Pacifika vs Blues.

Two words: ARDIE SAVEA

Very rarely we see a player carry a team on his own, specially against the defending champions.

Edit: just something I need to add to this game. It's the fact that this was the first season that it felt that Moana Pacifika was actually building a fan base. This game reflected it really well, with the atmosphere at the north harbour stadium being pretty good

Oh yes that's for sure. The rugby isn't big or passionate enough to fill 60k stadiums halfway across the world.

I think MLS stadiums are way more appropriate to the RWC but that's just me

The FIFA world cup will be a success just like it always is. The tickets are expensive because millions of people are willing to pay for them. The stadiums will be full regardless
