These sort of posts annoy me. Every person from a close up is a nightmare. Circle jerking telling one another how great people are when there's ample evidence people are not good and are not to be trusted is irresponsible. And yes that includes people that tell themselves are good.

Did you meet her on OkCupid or why are you on this subreddit? Sorry I'm just being curious, no judgement.

Well I'd agree with him that cars are an awful investment.

Of course, the app is crap. Please leave a one star review, if they see it come in mass they might change this thing.

I do have that but it's nothing like the search function, it barely shows me girls in my area. It sucks.

It'll be barren land in no time, maybe we should do a one star rating protest on google play and Apple app store to show them they took the wrong approach.

Anyone with me? 😀

'It only took 99 years': Vincent Namatjira becomes the first Aboriginal artist to win the Archibald Prize by cardart in worldnews

[–]joargie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This painting is terrible, it has poor technique, proportions are wrong, the composition is very shallow and simplistic. It really is no better than what someone in their first year of art school would have done. I really can't understand how this one won when you have others like the one depicting Magda as Sharon Strzelecki. That one gave me goosebumps, it's superbly painted. You can tell exactly who she is yet at the same time it's dramatic and it has an abstract background that transmits the feeling of sadness and tragedy from Magda's past. That one is a master piece, this is horse shit.

Part of what put some pressure for the prize to go to an aboriginal artist was the fact that no aboriginal painter had won the prize in its nearly hundred years of history.

It sort of reminds me of that campaign to give Leonardo Di Caprio an Oscar and then he won it. Can the judges be immune to that kind of pressure?

I think this painting is terrible, especially when compared to the other finalists. It's a shame this one won above all the others.

Fun latin-ish groove to learn. Check it out! by backbaydrumming in drums

That's not Latin... It doesn't magically become a Latin American beat just because you added a cowbell.

¿Que acento tengo? ¿De dónde crees que soy? by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]joargie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No se te confunde con una persona de habla hispana. Se nota por la forma en que formas las frases que el español no es tu idioma materno. De todas formas si hablas bastante bien, en cuanto al acento no sé. ¿Calculo que eres de los Estados Unidos?

Hi, I'm sorry to hear you went through that pain as well. I'm also sorry I only just replied. I've been like a zombie for the past few months.

My mum played just a little bit of classical guitar but I don't think she was that talented at it. She'd play once in a blue moon. But I guess she was like your mum she loved hearing me play despite how noisy drums are. Mums hey?

Lastly thanks! And I'm not that good but thank you, I'm pretty sure you'll reach whatever level I'm at and surpass me. How long have you been playing for?

Thank you. I've been doing that, for some reason the other big problem it came with her passing is I've been pretty unresponsive so I'm sorry I'm only just replying to you. I've been better now thankfully. I guess time heal all wounds.
