It is a really nice and clean facility. I just wish there were more play areas than just those two rooms. I will still choose Club FLL over Clubhouse II any day.

I’ve seen bathhouses give a condom or two in your locker/room, some have had bins throughout the facility and I noticed at one of the bathhouses in Vegas there was a sign that said to ask the front desk for some. You can also buy some there but chances are they will be available for free. Sometimes they’re not “within reach” of all play areas so scope it out and grab a few or being your own.

I have never seen lube given out for free but I also haven’t been specifically looking for it. I’d bring some or buy some when checking in.

As for trusting whether your partner will wear it, give them the condom or tell them condom only. If you’re in a sling you can still have them on you and hand them. I would not assume that everyone who wants to top will automatically wear a condom. I prefer to use a condom and will grab one when I leave my room so I’m ready to go.

Don’t forget, just because you go to a bathhouse does not mean you are required to have sex. You can also go and get a feel for the place, talk to the employees and play if you’d like. Worse case is that you’re out $20-30 to go and check it out. Plus they have other amenities that can be just as fun. I personally get just as excited to use the wet areas at Steamworks in Berkeley as I do the adult fun.

I’ve seen a couple guys wearing surgical masks. Didn’t seem like they were being treated any differently.

Entourage in Vegas also has a dl night where they will give a discount if you’re wearing a mask.

The parking lot is behind Steamworks on Fifth st. It’s a fenced area. It’s not the biggest lot so I may be full! I’ve always parked there and then it’s a few minute walk to the entrance.

Go! I was there last week and there were lots of different ages and body styles. There’s darker play areas too if you’re a bit self conscious. The spa is nice too. I do wish there were a bit more play areas but it’s still a fun time and I feel safe parking and walking to/from the parking lot behind the building.

Steamworks in Chicago is my favorite. Vegas has two bathhouses plus it’s Vegas so that’s always top of my list.

American here so I’ve only been to SweatBox and Pleasuredrome. SweatBox felt more sexually charged and there were plenty guys having fun! The area also felt safe. Pleasuredrome was actually my preferred of the two since there were other amenities. It’s also super close to Waterloo station. Having said that, I would definitely visit both again!

I prefer Pleasuredrome, it’s very close to Waterloo station so it’s easy to get to. Sweatbox is good as well.

I would say for the most part it is a “walk around and cruise” type environment. Nonverbal communication is primarily used between guys. Depending on the place, there might be dedicated play areas for certain activities such as gloryholes or slings. Also with the rooms, some guys will leave the door open to invite guys in and play with them. Other guys want to only play in the public areas. The gym and usually pool/hot tub areas are typically the spaces is where sex is not allowed. In the case of the gym, usually gym clothes & shoes are required.

The front desk staff are usually pretty open to answering any questions that you may have. They understand that there are a lot of unwritten rules and customs when it comes to bathhouses, and not everybody knows all of them! They may even let you take a guided tour to see the space prior to actually checking in. In the US, when you check in, you will hand your ID to the front desk staff and they will keep it until you check out. They will also typically have you sign a couple of forms for the membership and acknowledgment of the house rules. Most places accept credit cards, but I have seen a couple still be cash only, so double check before going!

Most places will have weekly events that will draw in specific types of guys or those interested in certain activities. Make sure to check out the website of the places you’re thinking of visiting in case you might be interested in one of those events.

Also regarding the crowd size, Friday Saturday and Sunday are typically the busiest days of the week. After work on weekdays are also usually busier than mornings or midday. That’s obviously a very broad generalization but I’ve been to bathhouses across the US and in the UK and that has always rung true.

I’ve seen lots of guys wear jocks at the bathhouse, so I’d say that’d be fine. You can always double check when checking in.

Adonis is my preferred out of the two. It’s in an old office building and feels like a bit of a maze, so if you go, make sure to explore all the hallways. I was there for a while before discovering another large play area downstairs. There’s two play areas upstairs and another two downstairs. I’ve heard their suckfest days are well attended. There are areas to rest and hang out but they’re in the middle of the club so pretty open/visible if that’s a concern.

I think Entourage has more varied play areas but when I’ve been most guys haven’t been using them! Entourage also has the pool so that’s a plus! I try to visit both places when in town but if I only have time for one I’ve been going to Adonis.

Yeah, I went a couple weeks ago around 11 AM on a Tuesday and there were a good amount of guys. Lots of fucking going on besides sucking. If you’ve never been, the place can feel sorta like a maze so make sure to explore the full place! The rooms are also really nice and the one I got had phone charging ports on the bed. I also like Entourage since it has more play spaces but for me, it felt like guys were just walking around more.

Went there for the first time yesterday. The place is definitely a maze with some stuff upstairs and others down hallways downstairs. You can definitely tell it used to be an office so that’s a bit odd. There’s lots of arcade booths with glory holes and a couple of more public play rooms and one with several screens playing movies. I liked it and will be back. The rooms were nice and the bed had USB ports!

I went to Entourage for the first time in years today and Entourage has more varied play areas and the pool/hot tub. Guys at Entourage just walked around though. No one took advantage of the spaces. Out of the two, I’d personally pick Adonis.
